I'm not dead!
You'll be stone dead in a moment.

Okay, jokes aside, I hope everyone is having a terrific 2016 so far. I know I have.

To start off, I got a new job! That's fantastic for me because I'll be moving out in a couple of months. On my own again without having to be bothered when I'm writing. My folks have a sixth sense about that. Whenever I get started and I'm really hitting my stride, that's when they ask for favors.

Now, on to writing - my latest story Winds of Wintercrest is taking a bit longer than usual. I finished my first draft and my editor helped me with the second draft, but after we were finished, he pointed out something that breaks the whole story:

Nobody changes. Nobody grows. Nobody learns. In a sense the story is pointless.

After looking back at the story, I realized that I left out a vital detail. So now this story has been undergoing a third draft and I'm about halfway through; and I tell ya, working on something over and over again tries your patience. I just want to be finished! It'll be finished eventually. Then I can get to what I really want to work on:
