Dear Princess Luna, the last two profiles I am preparing for you in this set are about two members of Canterlot’s elite that stand out above the more selfish, power grubbing elite that normally come to mind when I think of home. Fleur Dis Lee, and her husband Fancy Pants, present a standard of honesty and good that reassure me not everypony is power hungry like Blueblood.

Cutie Mark: One large Fleur-de-lis of gold, with two smaller pale violet fleurs, all located on the outside of her right leg beside the calf.
Bust Size: Very petite to match with her build.
Occupation: Former Supermodel*, star student of Ember Grace’s school.
Scars or accessories? None known, but the gossip rags insist she has developed some in her time at Ember Grace’s school.
Close relationships: An orphan, she has no family and earned a place in Starswirl University at a very young age due to her extreme magical talent and how quickly she learned. She was discovered by Photo Finish and became a popular model due to her close resemblance to Princess Cadance, and rumors that claim they are second cousins.**
Personality: Soft spoken, polite and kind, Fleur has been compared to a flower, or other kinds of poetic gibberish. If one must draw such parallels, then let that flower be a rose, for she has thorns, as I witnessed during our first training session a few weeks ago in the depths of the Apple clan’s orchard.
Skills and Quirks:
Unicorn Warmage in training. – While she is not finished with her own schooling, the single-minded focus she puts into everything she does has proven very effective, making her the rising star of Ember Grace’s very focused school.
Elite Fencer – Fast and light in her step, Fleur might not match Fancy Pants in combat, but she has specialized far more than he has, and is frightfully skilled with a fencing blade in hand.
Mixed Education – Interestingly, due to her time at both Starswirl University, her tutors while working as a model, and now her time at Ember Grace’s school, Fleur has one of the broadest educations I’ve ever heard of.
* - Discovered by Photo Finish at around the age of fifteen, Fleur quickly rose as a fashion model and social magnet despite her young age. A stunning mare, she worked for nearly a decade in the industry, leaving her schooling behind at Starswirl University. Until one day she simply dropped out of the public eye, only to be discovered as restarting her education in her mid twenties at Ember Grace’s school.
** - While Cadance has simply politely dismissed any attempts to substantiate these rumors, Fleur has repeatedly stated they are false, often painting that “I wish I were so lucky, the princess seems like the greatest cousin anypony could ever have.”
This version of Fleur is one of the most impressive iterations of her character I've ever seen in Fimfiction. Learning about her past and her skills was interesting, so thank you for that.
I keep imagining her as some sort of super spy or spec ops agent for some reasons...
4071969 The comics made her into a lot of things, I wanted to keep her fun and linked to Fancy, but hopefully as she comes up more it will be clear I am not leaving her as just 'arm candy'
