Prologue

I know. The prologue is supposed to come first. The first chapter was supposed to be a psuedo-sequel to Something Like Laughter by Dubs Rewatcher but I had a story line in my head for a prologue that I wanted to write. For you Trixie fans, I apologise for dragging her through that trauma with Tyrek. It was what it took to cause her to realise she needs help. I was not a big fan of hers after Boast and Duel but reading stories about Trixie's past changed my opinion of her. Most stories cast her, and her past, in a tragic light and only a few seem to make her rotten just because she is. I choose the tragic past path. She is striving to improve herself and has finally seen that outside assistance is needed. The fact she's going to Twilight shows the growth of her character.
