Well, so long on this site and I've yet to even begin a story. However, I have recently been hit upon by muse for a story inspired by events occurring on a MLP:FIM roleplay site I'm running. I'm still finishing out the thread the fic will be started from, and there will be a transition period as I rewrite the thread from a RP thread style to a fanfiction. However, I like to show off a little (geeh, wonder why I have Trixie as an icon here...), so here's just a little monologue by one of the characters. Feel free to guess away at the story...and it doesn't count if you're one of the people I've told about:
”So Trixie, I was wondering something. How would you like to see Equestria? Well, I guess you’ve seen some of it with your traveling show and all, but how much have you really seen? I’m a bit of an amateur explorer, but it’s been ages since I’ve had someone to show off the wonders of the world to. New cities, exotic foods, ancient ruins, and even the occasional terrifying monster.”
At this point he got in closer, his tone shifting to a much more serious one as he started up again.”I can’t promise it’ll always be safe. As an explorer of the arcane arts, you should understand the unknown can be treacherous. But for someone like you, someone like the Great and Powerful Trixie, I think it would be absolutely…fantastic.” he said, giving a cheesy smile to finish off .
