When things grow, they are said to flower. A thought flowers into an idea. A moment of bravery flowers into a courageous act. A moment of heated, steamy passion flowers into new life. A seed is planted, something grows, and then it flowers. Such is life, and such was the life of Tarnished Teapot, a unicorn with a cutie mark that was a poison joke flower. Tarnished Teapot had grown. He had flowered.
A sequel is coming. Still working on a name and a few loose ends. Still debating the rating...
Advice and input appreciated.
Cue the Undertale references...*reference montage intensifies*
Well, the name is totally you. As for the rating, I fine with the occasional mature scenes, it just adds to the story. I'm not ashamed to admit I enjoy 'em!
In the end, its up to you. I'll know it is going to be awesom with or without them! /)*
Honestly I think the name is right there in that short description "The Bloom", "The Flowering", "Fields of Blue", "Growth" something flower/nature/growth related, and if it doesn't turn out to be one of the those then I will get my revenge with a 2'000 ish word fic based on that "Brass Beast" thing I sent you, not sure how it'll work as a revenge but the emotion will be there.
Rating, eh, that's personal preference, honestly I'm not sure "The Weed" deserved a M rating, the was only some violence, no open nookie, and the language was fairly soft, it did require the ability to think about things though and I've met plenty of "mature" people incapable of that so... *shrugs*
Other than that, I think "The Weed" was a perfectly complete arc, while fairly obvious in the way it was going to continue (none of the big environmental problems have been solved, and we've met Pebble in "TL&tHH" so there's obviously more) the central conflict in Tarnished's growth has been fought and won, he has a place he belongs, he has pony's he loves to share it with, he has a purpose to his existence, all things he lacked at the beginning of the story, so I'll be interested to see his new conflict and how that resolves.

Maybe something along the lines of "The Ugly Weed." Like the duckling that grew into a swan. Idk. Or "A Flower Among Weeds."
