Let's Try This Again · 9:15am Jan 10th, 2016
I've been looking at the poll results, and so far, "Filler Chapters" is in the lead, closely followed by "Put on Hold". However, I realize that a lot of readers probably don't realize how long the delay is going to be. Simply put, I'm not going to be able to come up with two filler chapters a week for that long, even if it was a good idea to do that.
So, I've created a new poll about this.
First, I can forge ahead and damn the consequences. There will be a couple of filler chapters, but then X5, and the end of it will have a spoiler for a certain event in Wily's Wittle Wub. However, in going over the story plans again, I think I can write it such that the spoiler will be subtle enough that - by the time I get there in both sequences - it won't be that big a spoiler.
Second, I can shift my writing schedule, moving "Melody of the Future" to Saturdays, and placing "Moon in the Dark" in its Tuesday/Friday slot until WWW passes the spoiler point. The two major spoiler points, by the way, are the end of the VSW arc, and Megaman 8. If I do this option, we'll get the same filler chapters followed by beginning the X5 arc, but stretched out longer by scheduling.
Third, Melody of the Future can be put on Hiatus, and I'll take another story from my "to be started list" to fill its space until I reach the spoiler points mentioned above.
Now...Please vote. The final count on Tuesday will determine my actions.
If I can give a suggestion... What about a fourth option? A contest for people that like your stories and send you filler chapters

That might be an option for the 'schedule shift'. If I like the guest chapters, I can add them during the week.
What about if you write the X5 chapters and release them all at once after the spoiler point. It would essentially be a hiatus, except instead of resuming to normal schedule, we would get an entire arc at once.

...I hate leaving complete chapters unpublished.
The major motivation that keeps me writing is the feedback. Knowing my readers are enjoying the story. It's not that I write for the comments...but simple fact is, without the comments, I can't write. Nothing kills an urge to pursue a story for me than a low comment count...because if nobody else cares about the story, why should I?
...yeah.
I'm not sure it matters either way; my take on spoilers has changed a lot over the years.
If you really want my vote, I think the best thing to do is reschedule. While that means that we'll have to wait longer for Melody of the Future, it will mean that we'll be on page with WWW without any spoilers.
Whatever you decide to do is alright with me; while I do love what you're doing with both fics, I'm not following them as deeply as some of your other fics; most specifically Another Hatchling and A Sparkle in His Eye.
I suggested rescheduling for those who don't like spoilers; I've pretty much gotten to a point that it doesn't matter any more, as it's literally impossible to find game-based videos these days that don't have spoilers.

I'm the same way; once a chapter is done for one of my stories, it ends up getting published. Once I'm sure there are no glaring errors anyway that is.
The only real difference between me and you is that I really don't care if I get comments or not; I don't write for others' benefit. Oh sure, having readers is wonderful, and I do love what few comments I've received.
I write for the sake of the world I'm creating. I'm that way because I know how impossible it is to please everyone in your audience. I'm just happy that there are those that love my stories.
I need cover art for them though; that's likely why I'm getting so little traction.

Well...
For me, writing my stories is...an escape from a real world life that is barely tolerable, to the point my stories are one of the few things getting me up every morning. It's why I write every day.
I sink into these worlds I'm building, write a couple thousand words, and put it out there. The comments show me that I've had an effect. That the worlds I'm building are of interest. That those who read the stories care about the characters, and the world...and by extension, care about me.
...it helps me get up the next morning.

Mine do the same for me. And it does help that there are those that have read them.
NEW STORY!
I'd PREFER the schedule get shifted, but I wouldn't say no to a Hiatus if we get more GoatMom and Woona.
I once again voted for putting the story on hold. As I stated before I would enjoy Vinyl's story more if I had less information about what could be happening.

Get a room you two.
Anyway, put me down for rescheduling, and Fimfiction should implement the ability to create actual polls, you know click a button to cast your vote? Deviantart does it, why can't Fimfiction?

My issue is that even with know about what happens in these video games Tatsurou still pulls off surprises. I enjoy the stories he creates because of these surprises, like his recent one in Melody of the Future. If Tatsurou is worried about the spoiler being big enough that he is asking for advice I bet it will be big!
I voted for 'Continue as Normal' this time, but in hindsight, I should've said 'Don't Care'
There's no issue with what's presented, Tatsu. You just gotta go with what you feel is best.
I vote reschedule.
Not that I hate Melody of the future, I'd just rather not have spoilers
I know there's one story you have planned that EVERYONE will enjoy, so I'm for putting MotF on hiatus while you write it.
I think everybody loves ponies too much to give them up for long- schedule shift is winning heavily atm. Much as I love MotF, I think I speak for everybody when I say we want WWW, but we don't want spoilers that big, but we don't want a hiatus either. Giving us more Woona is a good way to keep everyone happy. Worst comes the worst, if you reach the spoiler point too early, you can still put it on a temporary hiatus then.
Actually, come to think of it, you could use this as an opportunity to finish up Breath of Dragons 2.

I think that's what I'll do.
If MotF reaches the spoiler point before WWW passes it, I'll put MotF on Hiatus while I finish that story up.
...wish I could get cover art for Breath of Dragons 2.
I'm all for moar Undertale and Woona if I also get to enjoy both Mega Man stories the same due to the absence of spoilers
Personally, I would vote for continuing with "My Little Titan" if you put one of your PWNY-Verse stories on hold.
