Regarding Future Events

Melody of the Future will soon be reaching X5. Now, this is a bit of a Spoiler, but this is where some major events for the story are going to happen. Thing is...those major events will Spoiler quite a few things for "Wily's Wittle Wub".

So, for those of you who read both...

Please vote.

You have until Tuesday to weigh in, and that will be the path I take.

For those wondering, "Filler Chapters" means continuing to update, but with chapters that don't advance the main story through the games, whereas "Delay" means cycling Melody of the Future out of the update cycle until it will no longer spoil unwritten chapters of Wily's Wittle Wub.

I voted to put the story on hold because I do not want Vinyl's story spoiled. It just would feel better from a reading point not to know what was coming up in one story because of actions in another.

I say filler, we need more character development and fun times. Plus, it was several months between X4 and X5, so we can see some more dates for Zero and Iris, Cici being awesome, X getting mobbed by girls until Alia puts her foot down, and Octavia being her awesome self and outsmarting idiots.

Filler chapters could be great opportunity to expand the story.
I'd like to see more exposition of the year 21XX, the time of humans and reploids, living together in one community. Especialy the time of peace.

Before I vote, there's something I'd like to ask. How far into Wily's Wittle Wub do the spoilers go? I mean, around which game entry would it be spoiled? That knowledge may affect my choice.

3674771 Ah, really should have guessed that. Anyways, I'm voting for a hiatus, then. While I wouldn't be opposed to filler chapters, you can only go so far with those before they go from simply being a delaying tactic (which is fine) to actually feeling like a delaying tactic (which isn't). Enough for two games' worth of chapters seems like the latter category. Besides, if there's one thing I've learned from watching Steven Universe, It's that waiting can be a very good thing. In other words, I have no problem waiting for the next Tavi Bomb.
