Writing's hard, mkay. · 7:42pm Jan 8th, 2016
Writing can be difficult sometimes, especially if you're a new writer. I've tried writing stories way before my recent one and they've all been shitty in comparison. To be honest, I thought I was going to get a ton of downvotes when I published the story but I guess I did something right.
So far, I haven't been able to write enough of the second chapter for Maid to Serve. I have been trying, but its difficult typing the right words down from your mind. I don't have writers block, it's just I can't seem to figure out which sentences goes best and which ones need to be cut. I already got a majority of it done and I only need to put out at least a couple thousand words at best before I can go back and edit it.
I know I said I wouldn't take my sweet time bringing out the chapter, what with a month since I published the story. I have all the free time in the world that's devoted to writing, but distractions tend to steer me away from my goal. That's why ADHD is a pain in the ass to control on my own without the aid of medicine and such. Also insomnia most of the time leaves me tired and unable to focus. I got good sleep last night, though, so I'm good right now.
Writing these blogs seem to help out a bunch, even if no-one reads them. They sort of help let the words flow freely and give me a boost in writing. That's good for me and good for you, because it brings me one step closer to finishing the chapter and publishing it soon. I guess the fire I had before has already dwindled to the point where I'm struggling to keep it lit: as long as I still have a little bit of fire left than I'm good. If I rush this story there is a chance I will burn myself out and be left with no inspiration and I can't afford that right now.
Anywho, I have another story idea I want to try out soon, but i'll talk about that in another blog later. For now, my focus is on MtS.
That's all I got to say for now. Stay tuned, fellars.
TL;DR: Haven't written a lot, but trying hard to.
P.S. I am drawing blanks for chapter names. I would rather not have to refer them as Chapter One, Chapter Two, etc.
I read the blog, I just don't always comment on them. Though I will admit that it's mostly so I can keep track of your writings, as we seem to share the same interests in term of how dark stories should develop. I'm glad to know that the story is still being worked on at least, even if stuff hasn't yet been posted.
3672916 I don't mind if people don't comment on my blogs, but it's always nice to see one.
I'm writing in some parts for the second chapter right now, had to cut out a bit so now it's at 4,700. It'll probably have more than 6,500 words by the time its done, if I play my cards right.
And thank you for sticking around, I know I haven't been very active recently and you've probably been sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for an update. It's coming very soon, I guarantee it. I don't start something without finishing it, and MtS is definitely going to be finished whether I have to inspiration or not.
