Astonishing facts and a thank you · 4:49am Dec 22nd, 2015
A page of text is approximately 2 kilobytes, give or take a few kilobytes. This is raw text in a plain format, very much like Google Docs uses. 1 megabyte comes out to be about 500 pages, following this math.
The folder for The Chase now weighs in at 80 megabytes. This includes my copious notes, which are over 100,000 words, character outlines, and the notes for things that currently have different endings... things I haven't decided how they will end. Included in total are the side stories, and also The Catch, plus the notes for The Catch and the side stories.
As I was typing, I gave a lot of thought to these numbers. Many of these numbers would have been impossible without some help.
So, thank you, Patreons, for making these numbers possible. We've done something unreal, unbelievable, something kinda amazing from a purely technical standpoint. Thank you, thank you so very much for such an amazing year. It has been a pleasure to write for you.
Kilobyte (KB) 210 or 1,024 1/2 page
Megabyte (MB) 220 or 1,048,576 500 pages or 1 thick book
Gigabyte (GB) 230 or 1,073,741,824 500,000 pages or 1,000 thick books
Terabyte (TB) 240 or 1,099,511,627,776 1 million thick books
Petabyte 250 or 1,125,899,906,842,624 180 Libraries of Congress
Exabyte 260 or 1,152,921,504,606,846,976 180 thousand Libraries of Congress
Zettabyte 270 or 1,180,591,620,717,411,303,424 180 million Libraries of Congress
Yottabyte 280 or 1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706,176 180 billion Libraries of Congress
Woot!
You should print The Chase into a book collection and have it in a glass bookshelf. For fancyness.

Once the series and all it's side stories are done, I would love to actually get the entire collection published into a hardback form, even if only for my personal enjoyment. 't'would be even nicer if Hasbro actually gave the green light to let it be released as an actual book without bringing down the copyright hammer on kudz so others may enjoy the masterpiece he has created
The numbers don't lie. Dang, that's alot.
Puts it all into prospective, we've come a long way.
Hope you got backup files.
Kudzu, the Page Sage.
