Trying to plan plot points is hard!(Sweetie Belle's small problem update) · 4:06pm Dec 20th, 2015
You ever have the issue when your writing a fic where you know the general direction you want your story to take but you're not sure which events should take place or when?
That's what I'm having a problem with right now!
Right now I'm trying to figure which two key events in my fic should take place, which one should come first?
AND ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!!@!@
*HOUSE BLOWS UP*
Deathsia's ghost: Ah! Much better! I feel so less stressed now!
Whatever the two things are, I vote option Two.

I wish I could reveal more but I can't without blowing the entire plot.
Read at your own risk!
Suffice it to say, both these events will have a profound effect on Sweetie Belle but trying to figure out which one should come first is an issue because it will affect how the one that follows will play out.
When I have that problem I write the beginning and end then work my way to the middle.
Make both and see which works better
Tough calls are tough. Decisions like this are probably a lot easier if you're able to write through in one direction then go back and re-write that part if you don't like it. Publishing chapters as you go makes that harder to do for the fact that it can change the story for readers who've stayed current with the story.
god, I feel you so fucking much man.
