Sorry guys. I feel like shit for not getting around to updating by now. I really wanted to break up A Darkened Land's hiatus with these character stories, but now it's looking like I'll probably be finishing the arc not long after I get around to posting the first one. I haven't had a chance to work on writing, gamedev, or art at all for nearly 2 weeks. I've had one or two PMs asking whether I'm going to continue the story and I just wanted to say: on principle, I very strongly dislike not finishing things. Whatever I start, I will finish eventually, however much work it is.
I didn't manage to get the new chapter edited before, but I'll have a gap in a couple days where I quite easily can get it polished and uploaded. In the next couple days I have a 30 page technical report due and a Calc III final, so until those are over on Monday, I won't have any breathing room.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have some ~300 pages of calculus textbook to read. 
Take your break sounds :P. I know that feeling.
Ah don't feel bad, Sounds, college/life is way importanter than ponies. Don't beat yourself up. Besides, finals will already give you plenty of reason to do that
