I find it fitting that I enjoy writing, since my last name is Ward. "The Old Gaelic surname derives from "Mac an Bhaird" ("son of the Bard"). A bard being a story teller or poet." - Surname meaning.

    So...

... I know I've been in and out, and everything's been tough. But how's everyone been doing? Who's still around?

    SITREP - September 7th, 2016

I'll cut to the chase, but I've posted this already on The Four Horses. Here's my envisioned plan for the coming months: Unfortunately within 30 days I'm going to be moving and my military life as I know it is getting uprooted and replanted elsewhere. I don't know anyone there, and I don't know what the work tempo will be like. All I know is that I'll be traveling all over the world on a

Just a small bit from what I've written tonight, which by the way was nearly 1,000 words. So go me! Huzzah! This is meant to encourge me as well as peak all your interests, and maybe keep us all going on this project. Enjoy!

    Surprise!

Well well well, I'll bet some of you weren't expecting this to appear in your feeds. But, yes, I'm alive, alas. I've been away from the writing scene for a long, long while now. Honestly, some stuff went down and I was battling myself, so you all unfortunately fell into the background. But I digress! I received my favorite book in the mail this past week, Airborn (to those of you who know

Yes, the word I know you all hate.

Regardless, don't expect me to write much in the next few weeks. As of tomorrow, my flight leaves Raleigh North Carolina, bound of home :)

What's your favorite thing I've written? · 12:20am Dec 2nd, 2015

I'm just curious, musing to myself as I day dream about SkyBorn, and I was thinking back about everything I've written. Out of it all, what would you say is your favorite? It doesn't have to be Broken Feathers, or Desert Storm or Nevei's Fall or a specific story; it can be a specific part of a story.

For example: Mine is Boreas, and the legend of Palmyra. I love what I've come up with for his Mythology, with the unicorn uprising and the Chrystal and what it does to the ponies who touch it, especially one pony in particular *cough cough* avoiding spoilers *cough cough*. Frankly, I wish I could do more with him!

So what's yours?

I'd have to say Frozen North, I am still looking forward to the completion of Desert Storm, but I can wait.

i wish i could say something here but so far i have only read skyeborn.
broken feathers and desert storm are on my read later list but at the time of writing it is 147 story's long. so yea, i am to busy to read everything i want.
i do like the concept of different species or races living together with different abilities\propertys and see how they interact with each other. i.e. pegasie can fly, unicorns use magic, griffins are carnivores, dragons and alicorns outlive everyone enz...
