One Story Ends and I declare National November Writing Month an overwhelming victory for myself

At the beginning of this month I decided that I would go ahead and publish at least 50k words worth of words, expecting to finish one story and then some in the process. Now I've already completed the goal with 2391 words above it, even. My Baby Sister is a finished project now and it's been an amazing project actually.

What started out as a sort of slice-of-life story went down quite a different road than I had originally imagined for it at times, keeping even myself surprised until the very end. I like to think that those are the best stories, the ones that surprise even the writer. I don't really know if I can say that much about it, other than that I really enjoy that not as many characters died as in the original draft (which had 1 survivor) and that it gave a nice insight into that AU which I want to use for more stories, still. I don't know if I do one follow-up for this fic, though. That's for the future, I guess.

Now I just want to thank my readers for sticking with me until this point. I know one year of silence can make even the most loyal person despair, so I'm glad that quite a lot stuck with me until this point. I hope to write more stuff so you can say: "Wow, that dude I subscribed to actually writes now. That's kind of neat."

What will I write next? I guess the answer is wait and see. Right now, I'm just celebrating that I actually finished a medium sized project. So, celebratory music number, I guess.
