No huge blog today, but I still have things to talk about.
I haven’t been all that active over the past couple of years, you only need to look at the dates on my stories and my release rates for chapters to understand that. There’s a lot of reasons for that, but most of these are now of the past. I earn my own coin now, I get to experience life how I never got to experience it before and soon I’ll have a picture of some furry trio hanging beside the door of my new living space so that I can finally call it home.
The coming weeks will probably be the most interesting in my entire life, maybe even the most challenging. A lot of things have happened to me over the past few months, but everything’s stable now. Stable enough that I look to this account and ask myself: What do I wanna do?
I already talked about it with a friend, how I’ve got a lot of ideas, how I want to do this and that, but things need to be organized, I guess. So, there’ll be a blog about what place I’m working at coming at the end of the week. You won’t get any juicy details, just enough so you’ll know how it might’ve changed my life and my future writings. And yeah, it’s the sort of job that can change a person. Hurrah for incredibly essential jobs which are hard work and at the same time morally rewarding and can psychologically break you if you’re not careful. :D
Either way, for now I want your opinions about this account. I’m going to give you a few ideas of what I could do and you could tell me, if you wanted, if that’s what you would like to see or not. I just want to take you people into consideration when I go back into writing hoerspr0n. Because why not?
I have several ideas, but primarily, there is of course the point of ongoing stories. Both Sleepovers And Such as well as Don’t Fear The Storm are far from being finished, so I’d like to know which one you would like to see finished first and whether you want me to prioritize them or not.
Then there’s new stuff I want to do. Ideas that floated around for a while which I want to put down on paper.
The first of those ideas is called “Her Winter Garden”, a side-story to My Baby Sister which focuses on the travels of Diamond Tiara a few years after the events of that story. Since it’ll be posted on this account, it’s going to have a focus on diapers and ar, but the main thing will be the unveiling of some questions that remained at the end of MBS. This one might end up at 24 chapters and once it’s done we’ll get an actual sequel to MB.
The second idea is an oldie I really always wanted to write. It’s a more cutes-y comedy of an adventure called “Through The Mirror Door” and the description of the story is as follows:
Her name is Sunset Shimmer, and she's better than everypony else. Yet her position is taken from her, those she loved betray her and everything falls to pieces. There is but one solution: Take what gold she can and hop through the mirror door.
As you can read it’s about an AU Sunset Shimmer jumping through the mirror and ending up as a foal in the main dimension of MLP. There, she’ll be our lovable villain protagonist with aspirations for godhood and world domination, while also dealing with typical foal stuff. It’s probably an average idea, but I always liked main characters that aren’t really good in these stories, learning a lesson through excessively foalish treatment.
Other than those, I could also focus on one-shots to get back into writing step by step, writing the main stories in between.
I have some personal ideas on how I could put all these ideas in order, but I would really love to hear what you want to read when you see an update from me. xD Also: What did you do this weekend? Was it any good and how much icecream was involved?
I say "Sleepovers and Such" should be finished first, but you don't have to prioritize it if you don't want to. As for your future stories, just write them whenever time and inspiration allows.
I still need to read through My Baby Sister and be brave about it XD But I say write the side story!
