I'm honestly scared · 12:38am Nov 18th, 2015
I am forced to watch the news in the morning when I go to my cousins house to wait for the bus, he hates the goddamn channel too, but he wants to see the temperature, so we have to sit through it.
Its nothing but a good morning from some blond smiling woman who will then tell you exactly why it isn't a good morning at all, and why you should be shitting yourself in fear.
I have no idea what to think, I'm only sixteen, with anxiety that makes me afraid of everything and overthink, I don't know what I'm supposed to do. My friend did tell me though that when our new president is elected, we are going to war with ISIS, so that will probably end in everyone dying in a final world war.
There is no way a war on ISIS alone would lead to World War III, though I fear that the possibility of a third world war is becoming more and more possible with each passing international crisis. Sooner or later, someone will anger a group that has zero patient and way too trigger happy for their own good.
But as for our new president declaring war on ISIS, it depends on who we elect. If we get someone like Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump probably not. Sanders wants a coliation of nations to fight ISIS, and a reformed military. Trump seems to think the terrorist attacks wouldn't have happened if the French people had guns, never mind the fact that it there were bombs detonated.
Bull shit.
Our world is like a washing machine, everything is cyclical. I don't think you should worry that much about a possible war, let's keep the future in the future, and keep focus on the present days, because they are the important ones.
Tame your mind, and you will tame your fears. The brain is like a muscle, if you repeat some techniques three or four times a day, you'll start to notice the difference in your routine.
Don't ever accept anxiety, say to yourself you are a calm and patient person. Repeat it, many times. Your mind will be forced to accept, it is your command after all. If fear or anxiety takes over, stop. Breath. Give it ten seconds. Let it flow, let fear take over you, it must flow through your bod and go away, because that's what fear is, a flowing emotion - ten seconds - no more than that.
Observe the facts, believe in your knowledge, in your feelings, don't rely solely on the news. They are manipulated.
You are not.

I have multiple thoughts on your comment.
First is how long you have been following me, because I didn't realize someone as popular as you was following me.
Another is me wondering how you are so good at giving speeches and making people feel better. Did you get the breathing exercise thing from yoga or an anxiety teacher, do those even exist?
Thanks mate.

Friend, I've been following you for quite a while, you used to comment on my blogs, a long, long time ago. And I don't really forget people.
I'm not very 'popular' - and even if I was, that wouldn't make me a single atom better than you, or anyone else.
It's good to know you are somehow feeling better, I'm not sure if I'm the best guy around to give you advice, but who knows? I never tried yoga (although it seems pretty nice!) but I think I'm good in expressing my thoughts through words.
I just let life flow through me, as a rock being carried by a river. It knows my destiny better than I do. Not offering much resistance, patiently observing, and waiting for the right time to act. (But that's just a personal philosophy.)
Anyway, I hope you have a great day!

I havent been commenting on a lot of stuff. I have mostly just been ghosting, stalking the website and reading what people write.
I never usually comment on blogs or stories unless i can actually say something besides cool or another one word comment.
3549585 Dude. I felt calmer reading that. Like holy shit that was good.
3556886 I'm happy to know that, my friend.
3556970 You. Are awesome.
