I'm going to take a break from my usual story rotation schedule for at least a couple weeks. There are two reasons for this. First, I think my prolific pace this year has finally been catching up with me a bit. I've been sensing a measure of burnout, particularly around writing clop. The next chapter of The Lawyer and The Unicorn is a major adult chapter, and I don't want to write it until I feel I can do it justice. Similarly, as happy as I was with the bulk of the last Five Star Service chapter, I'm increasingly finding the ending clop scene to be subpar for me, not up to my usual standards or abilities.
I think the problem there was that I was writing in between two medical procedures five days apart, which isn't exactly conducive to sex scenes. Put simply, it's hard to put passion into a piece when you're in pain or procedure prep and not feeling any passion for anything at that moment.
(What were the procedures? One was a treatment for Sleep Apnea involving microwaving my tongue. No, really. The other... let's just say it involved a lot of sitting and leave it at that.)
In order to reignite that passion, I've decided to break out of my current works and try my hand at one or two completely unrelated erotic one-shots--ideas that have been bouncing around in my head for a bit. The ideas? One is based on the last Nightmare Night episode, the other on the climactic confrontation scene of Equestria Girls: Friendship Games.
In other words, I'm going to try to really unleash the magic. 
I admit to looking with some envy on one-shot stories that rocket to the top of the featured list and rack up the reads and likes and watches. Guess I'd like to see if I can catch that particular wave. Would certainly be a way to raise my visibility and get readers for my regular stories as well.
Once that's done, I'm probably going to go back and partially rewrite the Five Stars clop scene at the end of the last chapter, then move back on to TLaTU... and finish it since I'm getting close. Note that none of this precludes changes and corrections to the existing stories. I've actually been doing a lot of tweaks to Rise of Firefly, and will be releasing its next chapter for Hearth's warming most likely. Appropriate since it will be based during that time.
I'll release a teaser for the new one shot when it's available. It'll likely be the Equestria Girls. Thanks for bearing with me.
The nightmare night one should be interesting, for me anyway. From what you've made me privy to, it will be pretty sophisticated to set up and execute. Regrettably, there isn't much service I'll be able to render regarding the EqG clopfic — just not my thing. Your TLaTU readers who came for the humanized clop will no doubt love it!
Right now the EQG one sounds more interesting, but that's more because my mind has more to go off of from that scene (best two
ponieshumans in outfits). I'd like to know more about the premise for the Nightmare Night one.Huh, well I'm interested in seeing where that goes.

The premise, such as it is, is kind of a mane 6 corruption theme that builds on the events of the last Nightmare Night episode, taking place in its immediate aftermath. All I'll say about that is nopony will be untouched by it, and though the effects are temporary it will be a nightmare night to remember.
As for the EG one, your own avatar gives a clue as to the content.

Me too. I don't have the particulars worked out yet, just a base idea. It was actually inspired by a single picture, which will probably become the cover art--or at least a carefully cropped version of it will be!

Sexuality gets very weird when non-existent creatures becomes involved, doesn't it? You'd think it wouldn't matter if the cartoon woman is exceptionally skinny and colored purple or a pony on four legs, but it really does. I did come about MLP in a pretty unique way compared to most perverts though, this being the thing that broke me through and not years of prior conditioning by other weird pervy things. Or maybe it isn't that unique at all, I dunno. All I know is, I'm freaking messed up... and I love it!
