I have to save my money for collage sry. I really know how you feel, I felt like that when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer she recovered (thank god) and now goes to therapy a bit and has to wear compression clothing to prevent swelling. I really hope things get better for you and turn out ok. I enjoy your work, every author has to start somewhere and a good place is fanfiction on something you enjoy to improve your writing and style, a lot of people to give you reviews and advice to improve further I say again I hope everything turns out okay.

All I can do is wish you the best of luck, and suggest a way to get a bit more $ yourself. If you live in an area that get snow, snow blow (or shovel if you don't have a snow blower) your neighbor's driveways for $. It's what I do in the winter time.

I'm really sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately I just don't trust that site enough to donate through it. I try to avoid any sites that have issues with Paypal since that is a very alarming sign in my books. Sorry about this but this kind of security questions just are very important to me.
If you can make a Patreon I should be able to set something aside to help you. And the reason I'm willing to work with Patreon is that I already have an account and have verified it to have security I find acceptable and I use it with PayPal to further mitigate risks.
