    Author update!

I'm editing stuff! But also incredibly dried out of writing power atm. I'll get going again soon, but just bear with me for a bit. I'm publishing a chapter of XCOM today, then start on the daily writing (not publishing) again tomorrow morning. In the meantime, always remember:

    Remembering Koji Wada

Like every year, I like to remember the man/legend responsible for the theme songs of one of my favorite shows of all time on the anniversary of his death.

So if you were wondering about the timing for the latest Isekai chapters? There you go.

    Welp, here's a life update

These last couple of weeks have been a bit of a rollercoaster. Good things have happened, and also bad ones. No wonder I could relate to both Furina and Navia in the latest Isekai chapter. Sometimes pretending things are fine is really exhausting, even if they do get better.

    Welp, another year older and...

...still writing ponies. (Among other things, granted.)

Update to the Isekai coming tonight! And some additional details and change of plans.

First, to everyone waiting patiently for the next Isekai chapter, I apologize for the delay. I know there are a lot of people that want to see another visit to Hell happen soon, and it will, I promise. However, due to some circumstances, I decided for a different pair of visitors to visit the bar this week.

Once again curiosity rears its head. · 11:01pm Nov 4th, 2015

I've been wondering lately: how did you guys hear about me? And...

Did you follow me because of stories? Blogs? Met me at Bronycon?

I'm always amazed and honored by how many people follow me here. To be honest, 50, 100, 200 followers is always incredible when it comes to reading fics.

I was once told by someone that my follower count is nothing. That her friend had 13k followers (at the time, she has more now) in Etsy and etc.

Of course, her friend makes jewelry and designs that are pretty awesome and way beyond my own skill on the subject matter, but—and I really don't mean to be disparaging of such an achievement for her friend or visual artists in general—the fact is that looking at a picture and liking it enough to want to see more pictures requires considerably less time than reading a story and deciding if you like it or not.

True, some people might follow me because of a story or two only, but each of you guys has been more than kind enough to read my stories and that's more than a 20 second decision.

I am very grateful for the time you spend with me and my stories, and that you deem me worthy of following. I'd like to hear a bit about you, if you could answer the questions at the top of the blog... and maybe tell me what you look forward to from this humble smartass that probably doesn't deserve such loyalty.

Saw you at this years Bronycon. I asked a bad question during one of the panels, sorry about that.:ajsleepy:

I follow you cause I heard good things about you and your stories are good :scootangel:

Met me at Bronycon?

I mainly followed you because of your entertaining writing guides, the fact you write Sweetie Chronicles is just a bonus.

I actually forget.

Like, I have zero idea why I followed you in the first place at all.

~Skeeter The Lurker

SilentBelle (who seems to have decided to not finish Heart of Change <glares in his direction>) is the reason I found you. As a result, I've been following your Sweetie Chronicles.

I follow you cause you seem like the kinda guy that I would be friends with; oh, and your stories are good too.
You're competent with grammar, and overall seem like a fun guy.

Second star to the right, Wanderer.

Don't rightfully recall. Maybe back during the TWE days, but there's no single event that comes to mind.

Not entirely sure. I just wound up upon one of your stories somehow some years back. I can't recall if it was SBC or something else first.

I follow you for updates and because you're a cool dude.:rainbowdetermined2:

I follow all of the site staff.

A Crazy Chocobo and Eeveelution loving Lunatic... who may have a fetish for white coated Unicorns.

I started following you way back during TER. Which I probably saw mentioned on EqD, but honestly can't remember anymore.

Pretty sure I stumbled upon The Empty Room and started following you from there. Not fully certain, though. It's been a while.

You know how I heard about you. Started reading The Empty Room, nitpicked at some stuff, and apparently that was enough to get made a pre-reader. XD

The story goes that, from the fractured depths of some lovecraftian plane, there arose a vile creature bent on the destruction of all we had held dear. With froth it expressed its mindless thoughts onto our sacred texts, demonstrated its intentions with the utmost disregard for our humanity, and forced together the innocents as its selfish playthings. We were too open-minded then, too weak to let the creature starve beneath its own devices. Instead, in our attempts to quell this festering beast, all we did was give it more of what it needed to endure, and sap us of our will.

And then Wanderer D walked in and said, "Don't do that." And he swung his mighty mallet like one would swat a fly, and the creature was no more. There was much to celebrate, until inevitably the scars separating the dimensions failed yet again, as they were prone to do. But we needn't worry, for the Wanderering D was always ready with his almighty mallet.

More seriously, I started following you way back when for all the site blogs you used to do. Like the features with Cluessless Reader and Obnoxious Writer. I kinda stuck around.

Nobody knows for sure. You just wandered into their feed one day and never left.

I believe it was for the Sweetie Chronicles, but not 100% sure. I've had more than one blow to the head over my life. Scrambles the synapses a bit.

The way I found you was a few years ago when I was pretty new to this site and 90% of the profiles I clicked on had that Sweetie belle story of yours in there recommended box. So I was like "fine I will read that story ,geez" so I put it in my read later thing for a while until I finally read it and realized that there might have been a reason why so many recommended it.
But I cant remember why I follow you :moustache:.

TPC led me to the Sweetie Chronicles, which led me to a lot of your other work.

Way back in the days of The Empty Room, since then, you've managed to write quite a few stories that have piqued my interest and that I've enjoyed, which is why I've stuck around.

Pretty sure it was originally on account of Sweetie Chronicles.

I started following you after I started reading TSC, since it's one of the fics that has resonated the most with me. And then I also discovered that you write amusing and useful blog posts as well, so that was a bonus ;)

From reading either Deceit (most likely) or The Changeling Queen.

Been following you and reading your stories since early 2012, probably when you started Sweetie Chronicles.

I started on The Empty Room back when you were actively writing it. Then I found I liked The Sweetie Chronicles too. Two good stories tends to warrant a watch for more, in my book, and over time I was rewarded with more entertaining stories and entertaining (or poignant) blogs and so I just keep watching. :)

EqD recommended The Empty Room, and I've been following ever since.

I don't really remember when I started following you. I want to think it was because of The Sweetie Chronicles; someone whose universe you were using linked it in a blog post. The Best Day Ever, maybe?

I started reading The Sweetie Chronicles because I love the idea of universe-hopping, and I stayed because it blew my mind. It's one of the most incredible things I've ever read.

As for what I look forward to... well, more TSC of course. :twilightsheepish: And maybe a TSC movie.

It was the your Three Sisters story that caused me to start to follow you.

I think I heard about you because you were a moderator.

I read The Three Sisters ages ago. I think that might have been when I started following you?

But I really can't remember.

Originally, I was following someone and they made a blog post linking to one of your early How To's. I loved the characters you used for them and found the info not only insightful, but also entertaining, so I hit follow to get more.

Eventually I did run across a story, probably through recommendation, and enjoyed it, then read The Empty Room. That story was so great! Epic without cliche epicness. It felt like the stakes were high for the characters, not the world (until the end of course). I found it refreshing since I believe it was shortly after reading Immortal Game and a few other majorly epic stories like it.

I also thoroughly enjoyed The Three Sisters, and loved the HiE Experiments (well written joke about cliche while doing the cliche well, always entertaining).

Of course HiE Experiments made me curious about Sweetie Belle Chronicles, which forced me to read all the attached stories first. Luckily I had already read a few, but I'm glad it made me read the others, especially Scion of Chaos/Heart of Change (which I had never heard of), and Of Mares and Magic (which isn't even on the site, yet is by an author I already liked).

So yeah, probably more than you wanted in answer, but there you have it.
And I'll stick around for the foreseeable future. :raritywink:

I found you through the crossover you did with "A Heart of Change." Your Sweetie intrigued me so I read TSC and then read Three Sisters. After that I followed you and have continued to enjoy your stories and blogs since. I'm rather fond of the rant-ish ones myself and the writing guides are joyous and wonderful advice.

Pretty sure I came across The Empty Room back when the EQD fanfiction archive was my go-to for stuff to read. Can't recall specifically why I followed, but that seems as good a reason as any.

I first found you from The Sweetie Chronicles and The Three Sisters. I highly enjoyed both stories and also your other stories that I've read. Anyway, I definitely look forward to any future stories and updates you plan on writing, whether it has to do with ponies or something different. Keep up the excellent work!

Someone recommended me The Sweetie Chronicles: Fragments three-ish years ago, and I believe I was fully caught up when you published the April Fools' The Immortal Game chapter, or maybe before that. As it happens, I'm more following you for Gothic now, but ever since I joined the /write/ chat, you've always been a super-cool dude.

It was the how-to blogs, with CU and OW.

It's nice to have a voice of reason.
It's even more nice to have a voice of reason that speaks with hilarious mockeries of the ridiculous positions it's trying to reason with (unless the mocked actually have a point you're missing - but CU and OW seem to be good at not having a valid point).

Also, Tiaras, Spoons, and Feathers was great.

I probably followed you cuz you were an admin and I do that. Or did. I kinda don't anymore. c.c Too fuckin' many of 'em.

how did you guys hear about me?

when your dimensionally challenged pone popped into a story I was reading

Did you follow me because of stories? Blogs? Met me at Bronycon?

first two, never been (and with my income, never will go) to bronycon

also, question, how do you do that link thingy with your profile bio?

Was introduced to you when TSC:F popped up on EQD. I fell in love with the story and the collab concept. I've since read many fanfics I would have never tried or found if not for your story:twilightsmile: Thank you!

bcuz you're a mod and you're not an asshole like Meeester and you're not way too fucking happy all the time like Obs and you actually post stuff unlike some of the others

Came for The Moon's Twilight, stayed for the blog posts.

You definitely hooked me with the empty room way back when and then just kept releasing fantastic stories such as changeling queen and fragments. Not to mention the blog posts.

I know "The Sweetie Chronicles: Fragments" was the first story I read from you, but I have no clue how I stumbled upon it and just going to guess that it was featured on the front page.

Oh, and I follow you because I follow every writer I read a story from and like.

I just started following you when I was searching stories to read, bumped unto the story The Three Sisters. It intrigued me, read it, then followed the series. I loved it!

I believe it was The Empty Room.

Well started to following you, for your fanfic the three sisters.

I don't honestly remember anymore. It was probably something to do with TSC and The HiE Experiment. And then you were a witty and amusing person.

Honestly not sure. I know it was long after I read what I read of TER, but before I read any of TSC, so I can assume it wasn't because of your writing specifically. It was probably just because we'd been crossing paths more somewhere. In the WBA, maybe? Probably just on Skype, though.

I'm in basically the same boat as 3520962

It was either Three Sisters or one of your random one-shots that got me reading your stories.

I followed you for your sexy looks and your smoldering voice.
