Cervine Wings on Haitus

I figured this deserved a blog post, and I might as well confirm that I'm not exactly dead.

I'm just very, very slow sometimes.

So yeah, Cervine Wings is officially on haitus now. "The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone" helped with that, since it requires me to rethink some of how I'm handling griffons in that story (spoiler alert, there were gonna be some griffons in the story). My drive to write this particular story has also gone down since I started. I'll probably pick it back up at a more opportune time.

In general, most of my writing has been on pause for season 5 to finish, so that I can incorporate or rework certain elements of this universe I'm creating depending on what is revealed, but I've decided to pause Cervine Wings story until I am at least finished with "Atramentum", which I consider the core story to this universe and is a sort of sequel to "Alicorn Support Group". Cervine Wings is really a sort of origin story for a couple OC's that may show up in my other stories, and I feel that it is more important to actually write some of those stories before going down the path of side-stories and prequels.

I've written at least 5 different openings for Atramentum, and have flip-flopped on the exact path the story will take a few times, but I believe I've finally got my thoughts in order (season five and Friendship Games have helped somewhat with that). For those few of you that happen to love Arradalis or Via (why would you love them? I haven't made them interesting yet...), you can look forward to meeting them again (eventually) in Atramentum, where with any luck they will not die horrible, side-character-esque deaths. With any luck, I'll start publishing chapters before the end of the year.

2018 edit: May as well confirm here that they story is cancelled. I'm just generally unhappy with the characters and setting in their current configuration.
