Greetings my fellow bronies from around the world. Holy crap is it good to have a computer again. Before anybody asks, yes I am writing when I can, but I also have a bunch of other things I have to write for including some stuff for the indie group I’m part of. Naturally when I was without a computer I was pretty much bored so I decided to come up with new ideas for people to take from me for adoption as well as grab a few I keep in my “Ideas” folder.
Some people have also been asking if they can do ideas based on existing fics of mine such as The Aftermath series. Well, as it turns out that while I don’t mind people doing that (depending on the fic and the idea) I really have no say if a person wants to do it. It turns out that, unlike Fanfiction.net, you can take an already existing idea an make an AU out of it. I would still like people to ask me for permission mind you, but I guess you are all free to do so of your own free will.
Anyway, if this is your first time reading my blog and/or Adoption post allow me to quickly explain. I have tons of ideas I get for MLP fanfiction, I can't just write them because the last time I tried to do that I threatened all of humanity. A few adoptions have gone through and even been published by the time of this blog. There is nothing wrong with taking an idea from somebody and giving your own twist on it, provided you acknowledge the idea came from somewhere else.

And here we go:
1. Title: “Broken Tiara’s”
Summary: “The day she finally stood up to her mother should have been the proudest moment in Diamond Tiara’s life. It was the day she could finally show her mother that she was ready to be the pony she wanted to be. What she didn’t expect was her mother to beat her up in front of her own classmates and teacher. With her mother having all but abused her both mentally, emotionally and now physically all these years, Diamond Tiara has become broken.
Now the once most hated filly in Ponyville is now the most pitied for her outcome. It will take more than just three Crusaders to help her overcome her abuse. It will take a whole town.”
-Naturally this is based on the recent episode of “Crusaders of the Lost Mark”, where at the point where Diamond Tiara stands up for her mother she is physically beaten up and abused by her mother in anger who calls her a worthless failure of a child. Naturally, Cheerliee steps in and attacks Diamond’s mother and sends her away but it’s too late. The actually physical attacks damage Diamond’s psyche and she becomes broken.
-The story is about the unraveling of the mental and emotional trauma that Diamond has had to suffer over the years from her demanding and harsh mother, who pretty much is the unlikable villain. Filthy Rich is the husband who always bows to her in fear, but upon seeing his daughter abused as such he finally stands up to his wife and properly divorces her. Still, the damage has been done and Diamond Tiara is in a traumatized state where she doesn’t know who she is, what she is, or if she even deserves to be anything for her past mistakes.
-Naturally, the CMC feel sorry for her and do their best to help Diamond Tiara along with Silver Spoon, Cheerliee, and the rest of their classmates who want to help. The whole town soon gets involved upon seeing such an injustice and do their best to support Diamond Tiara to know she is loved by them. It’s about a broken filly slowly coming together and finding herself out of the dark life she once had due to a strict and cruel mother with narrow minded views.
2. Title: “The Short Life of Twilight Sparkle”
Summary: “They didn’t need to pretend to hide the truth from me. I know what term “Terminal Illness” is. And I have it. Me. Twilight Sparkle, new apprentice to Princess Celestia, at the age of 10. I’ll never live a full life like my big brother, parents, or even my friends like Moondancer. Nothing can cure it. No magic or medicine can prevent my inevitable death at such a young age.
I am doomed.
This should be something that puts me down. But I won’t let it. Even if I can’t life a full life I will make it a fulfilled life. I will live every moment of my existence in the absolute best way possible.”
-An interesting idea I came up with, but I’m sure it’s been done before. Before the first season, Twilight and her family find out that she has a terminal illness that will claim her life in her young adult age, specifically sometime after season 1 and before season 2. And no, there is no cure nor can you make one up. She is doomed.
-Twilight decides that if she’s going to die young, she must live as full a life a possible. This makes her go through a radical change in her perspective of life as well as a change in personality. She’s adventurous, party going, loves making friends, still loves reading and magic, but likes creating new magic and experiments more. She loves trying new things and appreciate life more than others. As such, there are a few changes in this Twilight then our previous one. She has a much closer relationship with her family that we see, and she’s still friends and even a better friend to Moondancer and the others. Spike also isn’t seen as an “assistant” but openly calls him her son since he might be the closeting chance to having one. (She’s given up getting married or finding love, writer can change that if they want).
-The story starts with all of them finding out and shows the years of Twilight growing up, transforming into this different Twilight from what we see before she heads to Ponyville. What happens from there is your own choosing, but the closer she gets to the finale episode of season 1, the weaker she must get and eventually pass away.
3. Title: “The Red String of Fate”
Summary: “Twilight and (Insert Mane six character) have been in a relationship for nearly a year, ever since Twilight confessed their feelings shortly after the Tirek incident. However, Twilight has been having strange dreams as of late, featuring her trying to follow a red string that leads her to a bright light that makes her feel warm inside. Cadance is extremely happy for her because this means her alicorn powers are maturing to the point where she is ready to find her destined mate. All alicorns have their destined mate who is the one magic has designed for them to be with for all eternity such as Cadance and Shining Armor. However, Twilight is afraid of this. She loves (Insert Mane Six), but can she fight against fate itself against loving whoever it is she is destined to be with? And if she rejects this fate, what is the price of it?”
-This is a story where one has to decide to either go with what fate has in store for you or to screw destiny and make your own choice in life. In this case, its love. Twilight is dating one of the mane six (choice is up to you), and loves them very much. But when the very magic that made her an alicorn is telling her that her destined mate is someone different, she doesn’t know if she should go for the pony perfect for her or stick with the one she loves now. Can she break her lover’s heart and possibly their friendship to do what destiny has always intended or will she fight destiny despite the consequences which her mentor, Princess Celestia, had to suffer?
-Sometimes in Equestria it feels that fate and destiny is everything in Equestria with very little concept of free will. This story furthers that concept on the idea that is it pointless to fight against what has been already planned or can you reject it?
4. Title: “Mare Do Well: The Revolution”
Summary: “It is a dark time for Equestria. Its princesses lie dead and the sun and moon are blocked from view. Most of the Elements are also gone, those few alive are either captured or fight in a vain resistance against the Dark Masters of the new World. Sombra of the North. Tirek of the West. Starlight of the East. And Chrysalis of the South. Harmony, friendship, and even love is considered worthless in this Dark Age.
Despite this, Trixie has managed to do well. She is a famous magician in Las Pegasus, even favored by Tirek himself for her obedience in his own pleasure. Yet she hates herself for growling every day to this demon and his allies. She wants to be the pony Twilight Sparkle once saw her becoming last they spoke. It isn’t until she visits the aftermath of the destroyed Ponyville and finds an old costume that she finds the courage to rise up in secret.”
-Yeah, I’m sure everybody and their mother has had a Mare Do Well idea in their mind. To be fair, instead of going for the outright Batman ripoff. I instead thought maybe it would be best to try and have her as a symbol for revolution. Sort of like V from V for Vendetta. Trixie uses her position as a favorite subject of Tirek to her advantage to find ways to hurt him and later on the other four Dark Masters.
-Part of the inspiration for this world comes from Onomatopoeia recent story “O’Captain, My Captain”, which is a different from his usual hero crossovers in which the mane six and princess are dead by the time Captain America comes and he has to save a crap sack world with the adult CMC. Sort of the same mind set in this, a world where evil has won and what little good there is doesn’t do enough and nobody is brave enough to stand in and defy the darkness. So enter Trixie who decides she doesn’t have much to lose and tries to be that hero she’s always wanted to be.
5. Title: “The Gods of Oblivion”
Summary: “Oblivion. The Realm of The Deadra. Godlike and Eternal. Neither Good nor Evil. All masters of their own worlds and influences in life. Having existed and plotted in the world of Nirn for so long, the Princes of the Deadra grow tired of this world. They long for a new world to interact and pull their strings in. Now they have found such a world, one that many wish to corrupt, others wish to rule, and some wish to study. How will the world of Equestria react when the Deadric Princes come to play their game?”
-Yes this is an Elder Scrolls crossover, but instead of the Dragonborn we have the Deadric Princes. All of them. Each finding an interest in this new world and spreading their influences through various ways. How does Equestria react the appearance of such powerful godlike beings, as well as their infamous artifacts? One word: Chaos.
-There is a whole realm of stories this can go forth with. Can you imagine Twilight being a puppet of Hermaeus Mora? Luna interacting with Azura or Nocturnal? Celestia fighting against Molag Bal or Mehrunes Dagon? Pinkie Pie meeting fricken Sheogorath? And what if some get their hands on the magical objects that they are most famous for? Imagine Dash wearing the Ebony Mail? Starlight wielding the Skull of Corruption? Or Fluttershy with the Ring of Hircine?

3498634 Ah. Is the virus magical in origin, or just a normal one? Sorry for all the questions, I just find it interesting and tend to have a better imagination when working with a completely knew premise.

Idea 2 sounds amazing. And I can almost imagine the ending, Discord is free, Twilight is on her deathbed and her friends are running around trying to find a solution (and not just the mane 5 but also Spike, Moondancer and whoever else Twilight befriended in her life). In the end Twilight doesn't die because off her illness but she dies while helping her friends defeat Discord.
