Hello everyone and welcome back to Mellow Mondays! I hope you’re all having a great day! Anyway, I won’t waste any more time; let’s kick this week off with some mellow music! (This is what I listen to when I write and study for school. It’s a great destresser.) Now, let’s start this week’s installment of Mellow Mondays!
I’m gonna start this week off with a little bit of gamer appeal; Nintendo gamer appeal, to be more specific. I know that I’m a little late on the hype train, but I just got a 3DS, along with Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. If any other 3DS gamers wanna add me to their friends list, my username is Plagueboy. Also, if anyone has any good 3DS games they recommend, please put them in the comments below!
Speaking of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, just wanted to celebrate with you guys: I finally got a shiny Torchic after upwards of 1000 soft resets! For anybody who doesn’t know, shiny pokemon are basically retextures of the original pokemon, and the chance of finding one is SUPER small (as in 1/4096 small; that’s 0.0244%). Though I will not be trading my shiny Torchic, I am shiny hunting for other pokemon, and I will do shiny trades if I have the pokemon you want to trade for. PM me for requests. :3
Unfortunately, for those of you wondering when the next chapter of You Thought You Knew Canterlot High is coming out, the answer is, though I can’t give an exact date, probably in a few weeks. My co-author and I have been really busy with school, plus I’m starting to learn coding, which is also eating some of my time, and on top of that, we’ve just been uninspired; writer’s block has been repeatedly kicking our butts, and I’m really sorry for that. Rest assured, though, we’re both writing whenever we can, this chapter has just been going way slower than any of the others have so far, and hopefully this won’t happen again. I love you guys, and I know that it’s frustrating to log in on fimfiction.net after a long day at school or work only to find that none of your stories haven’t updated. Now that school has started again, that’s the case for a lot of stories, and I really don’t want school to slow this story down, I want you guys to at least have some sort of content every week or so, and I like to think that I do pretty good job of that most of the time, but right now it’s just not happening. I hope you can all understand, and I’ll definitely be working as hard as I can to get something out as soon as I can.
