Also, I keep thinking they could keep the show going a lot longer if they shifted the focus away from the Mane Six and towards the current foal characters/CMC. The Mane Six are getting towards the end of their arcs (Dash is on her way to the Wonderbolts, Twilight is a princess...), so maybe they could step back and take on a more mentoring role for the younger characters, and those characters' adventures become the focus of the show.
