"Journeys and Destinations" Chapter 1 is revised! + Plans for next week!

It is done! I have successfully revised Chapter 1 of "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity" and gave it a huge, grammatical makeover!
It took longer than I thought it would (and was started with a delay as I had to inspect an apartment cause I have to move soon!), but now it's done! With the help of Ezn's Writing Guide and the things I learned by myself since I wrote the first chapter at the end of last year's February, the chapter looks better than ever now and is now in a condition where I'm happy with it's quality and where I will leave it!
I have fixed all grammar mistakes that were still there, according to Ezn's guide, tweaked the narration and the dialogues here and there and wrote Rose more in-character; I also changed her reason for hesitating with buying the potions for the price that Applebloom had named her, as well as gave her a more tangible reason for buying them anyway, and I fixed a plothole involving the black jewel that Twilight gives Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle for their journey.
The events themselves are still the same, I have nothing added or removed, so you won't have to get used to a new plotline, but there are lots of smaller improvements sprinkled throughout the chapter that let the characters act more logically and lets you understand them a lot better, as well as made tweaks that make them much more lively now.
Give the first chapter a read again, there are many nice surprises in it now that will increase your reading experience and lets you enjoy it much more!

So, and now for my plans for next week and Chapter 2! As you have noticed already by my first lines, the reasons why I still didn't deliver the chapter as promised are that I unexpectedly had to inspect an apartment I hoped to be able to move in (which didn't work out) and that revising the first chapter did take a lot longer than I expected it to be.
Mapping out the story and then starting to continue it with Chapter 2 once I know where I want to go with it and have a clear plan for it will have to wait for next week once more!
But as I already said in the description, I have lots and lots of ideas for the story and I intend to write a lot of chapters full of road travel fun, hard times, finding secrets, learning more about Equestria and even some occasional epic events sprinkled on it for exciting climaxes, so you definitely won't get bored by what's going on! And until then, I hope the revised first chapter can keep you busy and shorten your wait!
Keep an eye out for Chapter 2 next week! I won't give a specific day this time, to keep my schedule more flexible, in case the unexpected happens again, and partially because I would like to write another, short fic next week based on the next round of the EQD Writer's Training Grounds.
So the day is going to be a surprise now, but sometime next week, you will get Chapter 2 and the story will finally be continued after more than one and a half year full of obstacles that prevented me from writing for it!
