And with that out of the way, let's start this.
Those of you who are interested in BTE should read the bit under this. Those who are here about SALT stuff should skip on till you spot the big, SALT banner.
I have no idea when BTE chp 2's going to come out. I am... bogged down with stuff at the moment, both IRL and on the internet (the SALT stuff), and my writing's taking a backseat because of it. I am sure that the literary world, both fanfiction and otherwise, is relieved. I can only promise them that this relief is temporary, for behold: a small, really stupid looking chapter is about to be added.

As it stands, the chapter isn't your normal chapter. I'd intended to weave the content in it into chp 2 but... well, seeing as that's going to be a while, take it. Just... take it. I'm so, so sorry. Please, try and find it in your hearts to forgive me for my crapiness.

So, unless you've been living under a rock, SALTers, you'll have noticed that there's been no contest this month and no resolution on last month's contest. Me and Ravens have been Pming back and forth over the subject - so rest assured, it will be fixed - but then this happened:

And oh dear lord did we misjudge SALT's userbase. No-one, apparently, knows what SALT is or what it's for, and that's even after they were directed to the site. SALT, it seems, is too confusing by half.
Which is why I'm currently leading an overhaul into it. Whilst maintaining my editing schedule (including 20,000 words on TTG, the new submissions to SALT and other personal stuff). And trying to crank out a H&S sidefic before Wednesday (I really want that horse game). And keeping track of the small circle of people who's names I know. And making sure no little gems slip past me on the front page. And wasting time writing stupid jokes into my blog posts. It's rather fortunate, then, that I have tomorrow off.
S'gonna be a long night. If there's anything you'd like to see on the possibly-new SALT, let me know here. I will - Ravens permitting - be throwing a poll up on SALT when it's nearer completion. I've got a fair few ideas of my own on stuff I'd like to see, but I'm interested in knowing what the few people who are also in the archive think. I'll certainly be drawing off the responses given on RavensDagger's blog.

Small, stupid chapter is already written and waiting for me to press the ok button. It was, in fact, the first part of BTE I got round to writing.
Oh, and yes: one of the personal things would be you. Your new story has a helluva lot of errors in it, btw. U got time to edit before it hits?
