Lost Deep

I'm quite mad. Like something right out of a Lewiss Carroll work.

    Star Trek: Starfleet Maintenance

Thank you to the force of polite and avid readers with better typo-finding skills than I. With your help, I've fixed a lot of the small niggles, and added the "human" tag. That's not the important bit. The important bit is the character list.

    A moment of sadness

I've gone over the canon in my story, and it all points toward a time between S3 finale and the S4 opener.
    So...
Episode Maud Pie hasn't happened, so I can't (easily) use Maud Pie in The Monsters She Lost.

I think I may be bad at this...

The Monsters She Lost: 4,325 words, not sure how many are refined.

What's that? That's not all that much of progress in five months? Well, it's part of a complex writing method where I try to find a job, fail, start going to school full-time, remember that I'm watching Star Trek: TNG, and then write a completely different story.

    Status report: 1,114 words, unrefined.
WAIT A SECOND, that's LOWER than what it was last time! That can't be right!

Thank you to the force of polite and avid readers with better typo-finding skills than I. With your help, I've fixed a lot of the small niggles, and added the "human" tag. That's not the important bit. The important bit is the character list.

I'm sure that, given some time, readers will get used to the full names of every character in this work. That said, a number of said names aren't quiet as solid as pony names, and in fact a number don't make a lot of rational sense at all, being alien names. As thus, I've added a character reference to the bottom of the first chapter (since they're all new there) and the top of the second, and presumably the top of every chapter headed forward. I would like feedback on this; if you feel it's distracting, or that it's not a good idea at all, or just want it to be at the bottom of every chapter, or you don't like how I've listed 'new this chapter' character(s), or whatever, please comment on this blog post, or the story, or whatever. Thank you!
