I know that people aren't supposed to give in to peer pressure or anything and that you should do what you love to do because you enjoy it, not worrying about whether or not others like your effort or material or et cetera.
But do you think I should stop writing The Pony Purge? I know I'm getting mixed reviews on it, but it's gotten to the point where someone insulted me for having no creativity - when I obviously do.
What should I do?
It's your choice on if you should continue or not.
3364385 But I don't know if I wanna continue it or not, that's the problem...
3364386 You could put it on hiatus until you make your decision.
3364386 I think you should, but its ultimately you're choice...
3364386 But I do think that you should continue it, and probably turn it into a parody of The Purge rather than basing it on it. Because the concept can work if you use it in a comical standpoint. It could get more positive attention like that
Well, as one of the, ironically, fake singers ever says, "Haters gonna hate, you gotta shake it off." There will always be negative comments on a story, but if they are like the one that drove you to ask this question, then just ignore those. Creativity is viewed differently by everyone in some way, and you shouldn't take it to heart. If it's a comment negatively telling you something you could do better, or fix, the you might want to consider those. Otherwise....SHAKE IT OFF!!!
3365204 Okay, thanks so much. You've just convinced me: I'll keep writing my story.
