Good gracious, it appears that I've reached 100 followers!
...The heck do I do now?
I'm honestly at a loss; first of all, I never thought I would end up writing clop once I discovered MLP fanfics, and second, I couldn't have anticipated such an outpouring of positive feedback from all the wonderful people on this site. Seriously, you guys (and gals) are fantastic, and I am truly, truly grateful for each and every view, comment, fave, and watch. Each time I see a number in the notifications box, I know it means that someone else has read -- and hopefully enjoyed -- one of my little stories, and it lifts my spirits a bit more. From my very first foray into "mature" writing with One Delicious Slice of Cake to my more recent contributions to the Sexty Minute Ponies tumblr (link here), you guys have been with me every step of the way, and I can't think of a better way to express my gratitude than to simply say the five words that I mean with all my heart:
Thank you, and God bless.
-JujubeLand, the author who found recognition in the most unlikely of places
P.S.: And don't worry, I plan to remain hard at work churning out more romantic stories about everyone's favorite equines.
Thank me? No, no good sir. Thank YOU. It always surprises me when an author is so appreciative of the readers, like we're busting our asses to read your stories. Maybe other readers like to feel appreciated, but all i ask is that you take pity on this poor lecherous soul and keep being awesome in my relative vicinity. And if you ever feel like you're letting your readers down in any way, do me a favor and stop that. You've already given us so much and asked so little in return.
267331 Without readers, my stories are nothing more than words on the Internet, floating in the vast emptiness of cyberspace, unseen by human eyes. That's why I appreciate my readers; they've taken the time to read my work and offer their accolades or criticism. I'm something of a "feedback whore," in that I love to hear what people think of my writing, whether positive or negative, and the more feedback I receive, the more I know I'm having an impact, and the more I'm willing to continue writing.
Also, if you feel the need to do something in return, I have but one suggestion: Tell your friends. I'd love to reach a wider audience, and I need the help of my readers if that's going to happen. That's all I would request.
100 followers? You lucky dawg!
But you shouldn't be surprised! You are super talented and you write quality smut. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find that on here?
