Stuff That's Been Happening

A 'sure, why not' blog post.

So what's been happening with me regarding writing stuff and FiMFic? And the real world stuff affecting that?

1. College.
Just moved in. School just started. It's my first year (and to think that I joined FiMFic my first year of high school) and I gotta get stuff sorted out first. Figure out my schedule. And, of course, see how I can work all this into it.
Oh yeah, and ROTC.

2. Computer.
It's an old, not-known fact that I like using a Macbook to write. Well, I'd been using one that is literally nine years old by this point, and a couple problems with it:
-Battery is not doing too well.
-More importantly, modern technology (I'm looking at you, Google) is outpacing it.
-Its probably about to die.
So I ended up replacing it with a new laptop. It has Windows 10. But I hate Windows for working, so I'm trying to get OS X Yosemite to work properly on it as well.

3. College and my computer
The wi-fi is being really stupid and I have no idea why.

4. FiMFic is quiet
Because:
1. School. Lots are settling back into a different routine, time constraints as well.
2. Season break. Self-explanatory.
Basically, another reason I'm not doing much is because this site isn't doing much at the moment. Maybe in a week or so.

Life is life.

What's on the backburner then?
-1,000 Years, 7,000 Meters Per Second- What the heck am I going to so with this completed story? Well, after 4 years of writing, I've never actually tried to submit to Equestria Daily. It just seems like something every respectable FiM fanfic author tries eventually. So I'm preparing it for that.
-All Types of Rain- I can't let go of this story. I've put too much into it to give up. So it's still in my to-do list. Technically. I'm going to write a prequel sidestory first.
-Another Displaced Human Dilemma- It's a weird one. I haven't done anything with it forever. But it's my story. Kinda literally.

Well, here's to a hopefully exciting school year.(!)
