A continuing quest to get back, and a fic nudging me a little closer · 2:24am Apr 6th, 2017
So, I'm on a continuing quest to sort out my life and get back to writing. At this point, I think I'm just daunted by being away for so long, when being on FiMFic was a continuously huge part of my life for a good 2-3, maybe 4 years.
I've let all sorts of story updates I was tracking slip by, and just almost stopped writing completely. Heck... I haven't even finished watching Season 6 (another thing that just daunts me for some strange reason).
Recently though- as in, just a day ago- I got another story update notification. And there's just something about this story that really grabs me, that I just couldn't pass up on. Its chapters are short- just over the 1k 'minimum' usually- and stuffed into there is a great dynamic between characters that's hilarious and touching and lighthearted and all around a very nice slice of life.
A wonderful story called Stuff My Sister Says, which follows Lightning Dust as she deals with her visiting sister.
If anyone here likes light slice of life and comedy through life's absurdities, go read it. To me, it's a story that just hit the right spots.
