Two things, real quick before I head to bed.

2) Here's a tiny except from it:
The door to the library—she liked to think of it as the Harmonic Archive, personally—clicked shut behind the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle, now also the Diarch Queen of the Greater Central Equus Changeling Hive. She planted her back to it and slowly slid to the floor, sighing tiredly. The quiet stillness of the library soothed her. The smell of the paper and the ink eased her mind and let her think clearer than she had in what seemed liked weeks.
For a moment, the world was nothing more than the library and Twilight. Twilight and books. Glorious, quiet, non-shapeshifting books. Indelible knowledge in neat organized shelves and rows that weren’t trying to tease her. Sweet impartial tomes that never made all sorts of noise in the dark, kept her awake in bed late into night.
The silence ended when there was a crash in the outside hallway and the door rattled from some impact.
“Hey! Come back here you little nat! Twilight told me to make sure you got a bath!”
Twilight sighed, blowing her mane out of her eyes, and rolled onto her belly. It’s good to know I have Spike to help me through all of this. She groaned and climbed back to her hooves. This never would have worked out without him.
“No fair flying away from me!” There was another crash. Twilight winced. It sounded expensive. “Come back here and take a bath like a proper filly, or I will get the hose again!”
Please not the hose again. Last time took two days to clean! She grit her teeth when something else that could categorized as ‘fragile’ was reorganized to ‘broken on the floor’ in yet another crash.
Twilight was just about to reopen the door and intervene in the destruction of her home, when Spike let out a victory whoop.
“Got’cha! Stop struggling! It’s not like the bath is going to hurt yo—OOww! No biting!”
