Time to Grieve

Today Benny, my cat, was put to sleep.

Her cancer had spread and she was in great pain. Now she is at peace but I am very sad. I miss her.

Let me have some time to grieve a bit, then I'll get back to writing next Monday.

She helped me get through some very hard times and it's scary to look to the future without her.

I'm so, so, so sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to lose your beloved cat. I was so shell-shocked when we had to put our last one to sleep, but I promise you that time does heal. I can't say that I've been through it before, as I've never had a pet that wasn't a fish of some kind. But I have to say, that I'm here if you want to vent, distract you, or anything of that sort. Just.. ya know. Hit me up. (or just hit me. That's cool too.)

I love animals so much... I love cats more. To lose a cat and having to kill it... I don't know what to say. Oh I wrote a story about my OC's phoenix companion in "Fiery Friendship". You might like it.

Thank you guys so much for all the wonderful comments and well wishes! I feel a lot better now. I just had therapy and I'm really tired but perhaps I can write earlier than I thought.
