Of New Stories, Future Plans, and Little About Myself · 8:20pm Aug 7th, 2015
Hi everybody! I'm back! I'm sorry about the hiatus, but I was busy with moving into my own apartment. Now that I'm settled in, I've started working on part six of the Legend of Spike series, "The Legend of Spike: Dragon Quest," based on the video games of the same name.
The story will based on the Erdrick/Loto/Roto Trilogy (Dragon Quest 1-3) and will take place a year after "The Legend of Spike: Legacy." I hope to release the first chapter within the next week or so.
Aside from LoS: Dragon Quest, I have two more possible stories that I plan on writing. The first could be a short story centered on Spike (gee, go figure). It will be called "Ichneumon" and it will be horror/suspense themed. The next might be a follow up to the Legend of Spike: Dracula. I haven't decided if it will be a sequel or a mid-quel, but I want to write another Dracula story that takes place in Manehattan.
Now a little about myself and how I joined the fandom. I was first introduced to MLP: FiM through the internet (wow, a real shocker). On different fan sites, I would notice other users using ponies as their avatars and signatures. At first, I didn't pay it too much attention, but then I noticed that ponies were everywhere on the internet. Then by chance, I caught the Season Two premier, and, to my surprise, I found it really engaging. The characters weren't the stereotypes that I expected and I found the villain enjoyable. To top it off, he was voiced by Q! I was introduced to the main characters, the Elements of Harmony, Spike, and Princess Celestia and how they fitted into the show's lore. The next episode, Lesson Zero, explained more about the relationship between the characters and the letters to Princess Celestia. Most importantly, it showed me how hilarious the show was! Then I saw Luna Eclipsed. I recalled from the Return of Harmony parts 1 and 2 that they mention a Princess Luna and that the main characters had used the Elements to defeat a mighty foe before. It turned out that Princess Celestia's sister was once this Nightmare Moon figure and that she had been imprisoned for a thousand years. I realized that I was missing out of a lot of history so this is when I went back and watched Season One. It wasn't long until I became a full fledged brony writing my own fanfics here on this site.
That's it for now. I hope you all will join me when the Legend of Spike: Dragon Quest comes out.
