I figured it was high time I put something more upbeat on the front page of my blogs.
First off: CatWatch 8/6: 2:11pm
My cat is doing wonderfully, as usual. Soft and fluffy, sweet, and adorable as per normal. She was a bit put out about having to stay at a friend's place this week, but she's adapting well and is currently on my lap begging for nuzzles.
I'm now also recognized by an accredited institution as a bachelor.
Wait, that's not quite right.
I've finally realized my dream of officially being full of BS.
No, not that either... Gah! Why's this so hard?!

After five years I've finally finished my second run though college (my first successful one), graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's in Media Arts and Animation! Huzzah!
(You thought I was going to go with Luna, didn't you?)
Now, armed with a fancy signed piece of paper I'm ready to face the world! New jobs! New homes! New people! Student Loans!
Wait... What was all that? I might have to move to actually access the job market that I'm trying to learn? Aw, crap. Does anyone out there know of any prospects for a fresh-faced (hah!) former student of 3D animation with a knack for character rigging?
Oh, and I'll be at Bronycon. You all knew that though.
And lastly, the next chapter of To Love a Pony has been drafted. It clocks in at 19,573 currently, though it needs to undergo some serious revision. I, uh, had to swap some things around so right now it resembles a jigsaw puzzle using home-made pieces. Sort of.
I wish it could be done by tomorrow, but realistically it won't be out until next week. I've been... busy. Yeah, that. I totally not been lazy on my vacation and playing too much Minecraft. 
This next one is also one of my most heavily-researched chapters because a number of things that I had no knowledge of could make or break the immersion. The human world... Why don't I know it perfectly, inside and out, front to back?! Bleh. I'm excited; are you excited? I know Seven Fates is excited, even if he doesn't show it.
And yes - surprise, surprise - even Pinkie is excited.

I know not of what you speak.
Being an adult sucks. Just keep getting more and more degrees. That way, you can keep deferring your student loan payments, I think. Pretty sure that's what my ex is doing. I think she's now got most of the alphabet behind her name, and surely enough student debt to bankrupt a small country.
We love this fic, there are others fics to tide us over. Also, Minecraft is a fantastic way to spend your time.
