3289875 it was more then just one. Several readers of the sotry made the same arguement. Sometimes an arc idea or even a story idea doesn't work out. I redid one of my stories and it was much better as a result.

3289988 but you don't always know to do the right thing. Say you make an item, it's the best item you have ever made but if it's opposite want the customer wants then was it a good thing to make? We may not be buying things in this site but readers are customers. many of us like the story overall but that arc just was killing it for the story. Yes as an author his is the final word on a story but that also means the consequences are also his. Now he has redone these chapters and likes it better then the old version. That's a good start and I'll see how the revision is.
When you got SEVERAL people have the same problem on a story then you have to take notice on what is going on.

I suppose I don't need to be apologetic, but, ya... I didn't really feel to excited about where I was going with it. So I'm turning back towards the more comedic tone. I need something to laugh about at the end of the day. And the original ch. 40 had nothing funny.

In this case I don't feel it was whimsyness that led to changes. There just needed to be changes
