X-Men: Channing Tatum NOT leaving Gambit after all · 3:15pm Aug 2nd, 2015
There was a bit of a panic attack of sorts when a story came up that Channing Tatum might be leaving the upcoming Gambit film.
It turns out, those fears were groundless, and Channing Tatum is locked for Gambit. So no fears there.
I will say that I'm probably in the relative minority when it comes to thinking that Tatum will do a good job, if only because I know he can do comedy (21 Jump Street) AND he can do complex drama (Foxcatcher). So I know he has the ability to likely create a good Gambit.
Bonus points for him respecting the role, and apparently being very keen on being as accurate to the comics as possible.
