Still Alive, Just Letting you all Know

Hi all!

So I am still around, still into Ponies and whatnot, still writing Pony Fanfiction (albeit very slowly now). Season 5 was good, but definitely not my favourite season (feel free to chat to me about it in the comments if you like).

I've been on FiMFiction Hiatus for a while now (writing at least, still been reading a few), but I'm more back into the swing of things in writing my new story, The Flames of Harmony. I'd like a few opinions though, on release schedule and stuff like that. I've written... almost 6 complete chapters so far, each a decent length though I'm only scratching the surface of what this story is going to be when (if) I ever finish it. What I'd like to know is, should I start publishing the chapters on FiMFiction now, or wait until I've written more.

Waiting to release will ensure that I've always (for a while, at least) got content to release, even if I haven't written much recently, but means that I won't get any feedback or anything while I'm writing it.

Releasing now (or soon at least) will mean that I get feedback and can have people help with the story progression and whatnot and might also ensure I write more, because I want to keep at least a semi-regular update schedule with this one. This also runs the risk, however, of creating large gaps where I don't have either the motivation or the time to write more of the story, so I've got nothing to release, which is unprofessional and I don't like doing it.

Either way, I'll probably end up at a point where there's abnormally large gaps between chapter releases, but I'd like to try and prevent that from happening. I can't exactly wait until the entire story is finished before I start publishing chapters because that would probably take way too long.

Anyway, I'd like some opinions, if anyone has the time. I'm trying to do my best to get this to a state where there's enough to release and fall back on if I don't have the time to keep writing. Let me know what you think.
