TrotCon was great. I probably should've asked to be on the writer's panel, because I think they would have let me. Oh well. I managed not to spend all my money, which was a feat, but I did buy this sketch from John Joseco.
Sheer brilliance.
I would have posted this earlier, but things got in the way, like... Skyrim. Someone even sent me a letter that I'm pretty sure was intended for Lyra.

I'm running Windows 7 on Bootcamp. It's a 2011 MacBook Pro, pretty much unaltered from when I bought it, and it plays games very well.
