I'm Back!

I'm back from vacation, boys.

It was a great three weeks I had. Went to Vancouver, went to New York, went camping... I won't bore you all the details with my trip, so let's get straight to business here.

I didn't manage to write anything during my trip. Well, that's not exactly the truth, I did manage to write something, but it wasn't pony related. I never really found myself in a situation where I really wanted to write, and when I did write and it wasn't something pony related it was really just for my own enjoyment, if anything. Otherwise I was too busy to actually get anything done. But I guess that's one of the purposes of a vacation: To forget and relax, and I think I managed to accomplish that pretty well.

So, yeah. Sorry, but there's little progress done on the next chapter of pony.exe. I've started the very first 500 words of the chapter, but I'm planning to scrap it because I had something visualized and planned out in my mind on how I wanted the chapter but instead of actually following my plan, which is the sensible thing to do, I went with the flow and accidentally wrote awkward dialogue. Oops.

Writer's block, something that plagues me rarely, is looming over the next chapter. This part's big, and I have to be delicate with the way I perform it so I don't make any major mistakes that will be hard to erase later. Like I've said before, I'm not the greatest at dialogue, or at least I think I'm not, and considering that pony.exe consists almost entirely of dialogue, I'm going a lot slower that I would with some of my other works.
