Sorry that it has been a while ago since my last update. I'm nearing completion on the draft, but half the time I keep running into problems with my writing. I decided to ask for advice from the writer of the story mine is spun-off from and a friend of mine MasterBronyForever about what to do whenever writer's block comes up (which is frequently in my case) to find a proofreader to help mediate story decisions or just edit plot holes or other issues.

As you can likely tell, I decided to take his advice. From my POV, there are three major things I think I'll need some input on.

1.Spelling and Grammar:

It's pretty obvious by now that my vocabulistics are far from perfect. I'm prone to typing really fast and making mistakes, and while looking over chapters I find it hard to notice errors due to my low attention span. A lot of people have pointed that out and I want to get rid of those problems. But as previously mentioned my low attention span makes it hard for me to find mistakes in that category.:ajsleepy:

2.Characterization and Development:

I want to make the characters in this story as interesting as possible whether they be from the show, the original fanfiction, or if they came from somewhere else. Like another form of media, or my mind. While some characters like Scout or Maoza are easy to find motivation for and write their personalities (or lack there of in Maoza's case) some I'm worried don't have strong enough motivation or personality to be a full character. And I want everyone that has some semblance of importance to the plot to be a good character, it's really frustrating.:twilightangry2:

3.Plot:

Once I have the plot structure fixed up for a story/story arc I go from there and fill and the blanks with the actual story. But a lot of the time I have problems deciding on how to decide on what to say or where to go with my writing. In fact I've lost track of how many times I had to stop and think while writing this blog:twilightblush:. And unfortunately it's moments like that which cause some of my worst blocks.

If anyone knows where I can find a proofreader for Elements of Terra or you think your up to the task yourself, shoot me a PM and we'll talk :pinkiehappy:. And don't forget that I'm still the writer of the story, so don't go mad with power. The last guy who did that ended up blown to pieces by Spike and Cadance.:pinkiecrazy:

I'm kidding. But seriously don't go TOO overboard. This is Skillet3479 and I eagerly await any of your suggestions:twilightsmile:

And don't forget to read the next chapter when it comes out, where Spike and the other soldiers go through training from Tartarus
