Seven years ago, Sober and I started posting chapters of No Longer Displaced. It's hard to believe it has already been that long, but it's not hard to recognize the profound impact writing that story had on my life. Sober and I randomly hurled our characters into a chat, kept experimenting with those interactions, and within a

    Eyyyy, the 28th.

A year ago, Sober and I finished the NLA publication run. It happened to coincide with my orbit day.

Here's to another year of such an amazing, motivating friendship.

Been working on a website for the No Longer stories, and it's looking quite clean. HTML has come a long way with CSS. :3

    BronyCon 2019: Into the Storm

Hi there! Been a bit! I'll be at BronyCon. For some reason, the convention gave me a panel. It's Physicists Invade Equestria in the Hall of the Moon from 5-6 PM on Thursday. Come on by for some lighthearted science if you're down for it.

And don't worry, I have a nice slip out point for those who want to experience the line for opening ceremonies.

Six Months · 10:21pm Jul 14th, 2015

Ahh, hard to believe I plopped my first story on this place six months ago. There are a few things I will say about that. Today, A State of Darkness garnered its 2000th view, and I have really come to enjoy the comments I receive from old and fresh faces who have come to like the assortment of words that I have arranged. The friendships that have emerged are by far the best part. I said that in my 100 day post, and it is still true today.

I've had some updates to the 'Can't Put It Down' library that I'd like to run through, though. So let's get the party started.

Firebird Dahlia - The Albinocorn: This story is undoubtedly brilliant. I've been following it for a long time, and for some reason just never clicked the pretty tab to put it in the place it belonged... until today. I love this story. Everything about it - from top-to-bottom - is excellent. The pacing leads to something that is savory. Yes, savory, and pretty much any author, regardless of skill, can look on this work and take away a lesson in how to build a plot.

Prisoner of War - Radiant: Maybe I'm just a sucker for wartime tales, but this is another one that - surprise - I can't put it down. Every time there is an update, I just put down whatever I'm doing and click. Where this one wins - for me - is in the concept. It takes a subject that a bunch of folks have tackled in the past and gives it a unique element that leaves me entertained after every installment.

Secrets of a Royal Guard - Anzel: This one shouldn't really be a surprise. Anzel's first story in this line made this list, so it was pretty much guaranteed that I'd have to fess up and get into the sequel. Silent Knight's characterization always leaves me with a smile on my face, and now that certain events have finally happened, I can rejoice!

Perfect - RarityEQM: The first of two 'special' entries into this list. Up until this moment, all of the stories in the CPID library were serials, but this was a one-and-done. There is nothing wrong with that of course. I fucking loved this. Yes, my love necessitates the use of profanity in this instance. Perhaps, somewhere in the depths of my soul, I thought, Twilight probably wouldn't have that initial reaction, but ya know what? Screw logic because the story was excellent, sweet, and absolutely emotion-dripping.

Hey Jealousy - Ruirik: Another one-shot that just grabbed my attention for everything else in the Universe and pitched it on the ground. I had to read this, and frankly, everyone should. This is one of those pieces that doesn't really need words from anyone to boost. Ruirik's writing speaks for its damn self. Just move your mouse, click the link, and enjoy it. It's got the feels of a power ballad, and with the two rock stars centering this work, the right chords are bound to be plucked.
