It's been a long time. A very long time.

As I promised, I have returned to let you all know where you will find me next: for now, it's a temporary place on Wordpress as I begin preparations for a much, much larger move in the not-too-distant future.

I am sure you all (who still read my blog here) have many questions. "Where have you been? What have you been doing? Did you died? Why only temporary? Why not continue posting here? What's that stupid feather?" (Up yours, I made that feather. Do not steal.)

Well, I wouldn't just show up without explaining things, would I? Probably.

No I did not die. In all seriousness, I have been very busy. My life has, lately, been 70% life, and about 30% everything else, including sleep. I wish I could have moved forward with things much sooner. The good news is that not only am I finally ready once more to move forward, dreams in hand, but I am also prepared to gain momentum.

That is partially what this move is about. In all sincerity, it is partially symbolic. I am capable of blogging on FimFiction, but I do not want to continue doing so extensively. I will still attempt to post major updates here as I progress so that nobody has to miss them, but not every update. In moving my platform, even temporarily, away from FimFiction, I consider it the first step into our (also my) own domain. Secondly, FimFiction is not a platform for me to exploit as a blog. I no longer contribute to the site here, and so I should not be making use of its features for my own 'gain'. Perhaps it's a quirky way to look at it, but that's how I see it.

As for why this move is only temporary; the short version is that I am still working on the website I had planned a while ago. Its planning has gone through significant changes: changes that have extended its development by their own virtue, never mind how busy I have been. It has gone from being my own, personal website, to being one that is much more important to me: Myth Forge's website. For now, we reside on Wordpress, and we will make efforts to keep you all in the loop.

For those of you that remember, Myth Forge was the studio I had planned with Chris Bowling (once upon a time known as SocraticBrony). That concept, too, has evolved, and I won't bore you here. If you want to know more, the about page on the Wordpress blog will explain it better. As is my way, I have made things more complicated for myself, for the glory of the dream.

On that note, it wasn't long ago that someone contacted Chris wondering how progress was on River of Souls (the all-encompassing universe that I announced would be incorporating the remade Visionary, amongst other things). To confirm: it is not cancelled, nor even on hold. It is in fact the absolute opposite. Chris and I have already confirmed and outlined so much material, including nearly half a novel already written, that it has turned into more than I think any of you could imagine in your wettest, wildest dreams. We barely can.

In addition to that, our project roster now boasts four well-planned and in-progress titles. There are actually more than that, but the majority are not developed enough for us to be listing at this time, and we've re-centered our focus to these other four. Though we still lack certain key resources and players to assist with those projects, developing them to our absolute maximum before asking for assistance is our duty. For now, River of Souls and one other project are all we are able to work on without being held back, and these will be our first projects within the Studio.

We are in the business of making a platform to stand on (the studio), and then making a name for ourselves. To that end, I selfishly ask that you all at least give our blog a look. I've been a very absent, and poor, entertainer to most of you, and a poor friend to others. Still, I've noticed that most, if not all, of you have stuck around, and haven't dumped your 'follows' on me. I've been honored to depend on your loyalty, viewership, and friendship thus far, even though for a long time now I haven't deserved it. I've let you down and had nothing to show.

Well, the calm always comes before the storm, as they say.

As has always been my way, the picture at the top of this blog is also a link to the Wordpress blog in question. Tonight I finalized the blog's setup, and have only had time to make this blog post here, and a generic welcoming post and the other pages on Wordpress. Don't worry: it's bare now, but I will fill it with so much your heads'll pop. To make matters worse, Chris is even a co-admin, so he will be able to share his own revelations with you regarding our magnificent projects.

We're looking forward to seeing you there. Me especially. I've missed you guys.

It's good to be back, one way or the other,
Aaron.

You had posted this just as I had left for cottage, eh?
Well good thing I dug into the blogpile I had received while I was away and found this beauty.

Good to hear about you, I'll be checking the blog every now and then if I remember. Gotta keep an eye on this ;)

I am seeing a very distinct lack of links... If you could just... get one of those for me... I'd be very happy to continue reading your things.

The green text in the post is a link. Clicking the picture at the top is also a link, but just because you asked:

If you're in a constant state of exhaustion like I am, it's actually more unreasonable to notice. :pinkiecrazy:
