    Ten Years of Doctor Perseus

Today marks the tenth anniversary of me creating my account here on FIMFiction. It feels incredibly surreal to type that out. Sometimes it almost feels like yesterday when I was a bright-eyed Brony entering the world of MLP fanfiction for the first time. And sometimes it feels like another lifetime ago.

10 Years After My First Fanfic/My Thoughts on Recent MLP & Doctor Who Content

Hello, everybody! It has certainly been a minute since my last blog post. Like I have said in the past, I am not on here as often as I used to be but I certainly try my best to check on my account whenever I can. In all honesty, I was planning on waiting to write out a blog like this until the tenth anniversary of my FIMFiction account. While I still plan on doing that, I was inspired to write

The 10th Anniversary of Friendship is Magic's Premiere

I know I'm not as active here as I used to be but I felt that I had to at least make a little comment here about Friendship is Magic officially beginning its journey into ten-year status. I can't believe it's been ten years since Friendship is Magic started. Heck, I can't believe it's already been a year since the series ended. Does make me wish that we could have gotten a tenth season in order

What Could Have Been: Doctor Whooves Seasons 3&4

Told ya the wait wouldn't be long. Anyway, here I am to FINALLY close the book on Doctor Whooves once and for all by laying out the rest of what I had planned out for Doctor Whooves. Unlike with Season 2, I'm just going to keep my plans for Seasons 3 and 4 in one blog as I hadn't planned everything out in as much detail as I did the arcs of Season 2. But, still, there is plenty of content to

What Could Have Been: Doctor Whooves Season 2, Arc 3

Yeah...sorry for the long wait on this one. I really have no excuse for taking this long to get around to finally uploading the rest of my plans for what I originally had in store for my Doctor Whooves fanfic series. But I'm here now, for those of you who are still interested in learning about the future I originally had planned for a series I ended well over two years ago. Better being SUPER

Idea Burst: Turnabout TARDIS · 3:57am Jul 7th, 2015

Time for me to share another random story idea. Don't worry, this won't be a four-part saga like my last idea burst. This one is, as you can probably tell from the title, a crossover between Doctor Who and Ace Attorney. This isn't a story I plan to write but I enjoyed coming up with the details and overall story. If anyone out there takes inspiration from this, wants to write this story, or put their own twist on it then you go right on ahead! You have my full permission. Anyway, here's the info involving my idea burst known as Turnabout TARDIS!

Story Summary:
Miles Edgeworth is murdered with an axe outside the Sixth Doctor's TARDIS on the night of November 20, 2028. The Ninth Doctor is accused of the murder and is arrested. Phoenix Wright takes the case to defend the Ninth Doctor due to him being close friends with Edgeworth as well as due to some of his close friends witnessing the murder. However, he quickly discovers that the murder may not be what it seems when he meets the Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald. Phoenix must now work with the Eleventh Doctor and Clara in order to find the truth behind the alleged murder and defend the Ninth Doctor in court against the Sixth Doctor, who is the prosecutor of this trial.

Characters:
So here's the list of characters in the story. Since I know some of you may not be entirely familiar with a lot of the characters, I'm just going to give equal overviews of each of the characters and their role in the story.

Phoenix Wright: A defense attorney from Los Angeles in 2028. He takes the case due to some of his friends being witnesses to the alleged murder and due to the fact that the victim is another one of his close friends. He learns about the TARDIS and who the Doctor really is in order to properly work alongside the Eleventh Doctor and defend the Ninth Doctor against the Sixth Doctor in court.
The Eleventh Doctor: The twelfth incarnation of the Time Lord known as the Doctor. He arrives in Los Angeles on the morning after the murder with Clara and quickly learns the details. He meets Phoenix not long after Phoenix has taken the case and decides to become his investigative partner and co-counsel in court. He has no memory of these events despite two of his previous selves being there. He goes under the alias of Matt Smith in court in order to keep his true identity a secret from his past selves so that the truth can be found naturally. His true identity is revealed by the end though. He manages to retain his memories of the event.
Clara Oswald: An English teacher from 2014 London and companion of the Eleventh Doctor. She becomes Phoenix's second investigative partner and co-counsel. She retains her memories of the event.
The Sixth Doctor; The sixth incarnation of the Time Lord known as the Doctor. His TARDIS is part of the crime scene and he takes on the role of prosecutor in the trial. He goes by his title of "the Doctor" in court. He learns the identities of his successors by the end. He loses his memories of the event due to the mingling timelines.
Peri Brown: A college student from 1984 Pasadena and companion of the Sixth Doctor. She acts as the Sixth Doctor's investigative partner and co-counsel in court. She loses her memories of the event.
The Ninth Doctor: The tenth incarnation of the Time Lord known as the Doctor. He is accused of the murder and put on trial. He goes by the alias of John Smith in court in order to keep his identity a secret from the Sixth Doctor and learn the truth behind the murder he's being tried for. He is proven not guilty in the end and reveals his true identity whilst learning the identity of his successor. He loses his memories of the event.
Rose Tyler: A woman from 2006 London and companion of the Ninth Doctor. She is a witness to the alleged murder and is cross examined in court. She loses her memories of the event.
Jack Harkness: A time travelling former con man from the 51st century and companion of the Ninth Doctor. He is a witness to the alleged murder and is cross examined in court. He loses his memories of the event.
Apollo Justice: A defense attorney who works for Phoenix's law office. He is a witness to the alleged murder and is cross examined in court.
Athena Cykes: A defense attorney who works for Phoenix's law office along with Apollo. She is a witness to the alleged murder and is cross examined in court.
Pearl Fey: A close friend of Phoenix who is a spirit medium. She is a witness to the alleged murder and is cross examined in court.
Trucy Wright: Phoenix's adopted daughter and stage magician who is also Apollo's half-sister (Trucy and Apollo are unaware that they're related).
Ema Skye: A detective and forensics expert who is a close friend of Phoenix (she was his investigative partner when her elder sister was on trial several years prior). She is the head detective of the case and is cross examined in court.
Dick Gumshoe: A detective and close friend of Phoenix who worked alongside Edgeworth. He is a witness to the alleged murder and is cross examined in court. He also begins his own investigation of the murder.
Ivan Marsh: A time travelling alien from the future who traveled back in time to murder Edgeworth due to a past guilty verdict at the hands of Edgeworth setting off a chain reaction that led to several terrible events in his family's timeline. He is eventually cross examined in court and found out by Phoenix and the others. He is destroyed when he attempts to kill everyone who has witnessed the revelation of his true identity. He is an OC.
Simon Blackquill: A prosecutor and close friend of Athena. He helps provide information to Phoenix, Eleven, and Clara about Edgeworth's actions prior to his alleged murder.
Lotta Hart: A photographer and good friend of Phoenix. She provides information to Phoenix, Eleven, and Clara about Edgeworth and Ivan.
The Twelfth Doctor: The thirteenth incarnation of the Time Lord known as the Doctor. He appears throughout the story and only approaches Phoenix to give him hints about where to look next. At the end of the story, following the departures of the other three Doctors, Twelve approaches Phoenix and reveals his true identity to him. He retains his memories of the event as well as remembers everything from when he was the Eleventh Doctor due to not coming into contact with and remaining unknown to his past selves. At the end, as a reward, he takes Phoenix for a trip back in time so that he can have one last conversation with his boss Mia Fey in person.
Miles Edgeworth: The chief prosecutor, close friend of Phoenix, and victim of the case. He is believed to have been murdered but was saved by the Twelfth Doctor at the last second. A duplicate of his body was left behind in order to fool Ivan and let the events of the trial play out. He appears during the final trial with no memory of the Twelfth Doctor and is cross examined in court before Ivan.
The Judge: The judge who oversees the trial of the Ninth Doctor. He has no official name and is thus simply known as "the Judge".
Larry Butz: A childhood friend of Phoenix and Edgeworth. He helps Gumshoe with his investigation.
Juniper Woods: A close friend of Athena and romantic interest of Apollo.
Maggey Byrde: A restaurant manager and Gumshoe's fiancée.
Trinity Jacobs: A young prosecutor who looks up to Edgeworth. She is an OC.
Maya Fey: A close friend of Phoenix, older cousin of Pearl, and spirit medium who is away training for most of the story. She appears at the end to celebrate the not guilty verdict with everybody else.
Mia Fey: Phoenix's original boss and Maya's older defense attorney sister who was murdered in 2016. She appears at the very end when the Twelfth Doctor takes Phoenix back in time to talk to her in person one last time. After her conversation with future Phoenix, she heads off to her law office on what will end up being her last day.

Dates and Chronology:
The "murder" takes place on the night of November 20, 2028. The investigation begins on the morning of November 21. The first trial takes place on the morning of November 22 and the second and final trial takes place on the morning of November 23. The story takes place exactly eleven months after the final case of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Duel Destinies. It takes place between The Day of the Doctor and The Time of the Doctor in the Eleventh Doctor's timeline, anywhere between The Twin Dilemma and Revelation of the Daleks in the Sixth Doctor's timeline, between Boom Town and Bad Wolf in the Ninth Doctor's timeline, and anywhere between Mummy on the Orient Express and In the Forest of the Night in the Twelfth Doctor's timeline.

And that's all the main details of this idea burst of mine. I hope you enjoyed looking at my idea. I'd be interested to hear what any of you have to say. Anyway, thanks for reading and have a great day!

I'm sure this would be something I'd be interested in if I knew anything about Phoenix Wright series. But I kind of like this idea of all these Doctors encountering each other in the midst of this Ace Attorney style story.

This needs Kay Faraday. I mean Miles susposedly murdered and she is not there?

I need this in my life.

Miles Edgeworth is murdered with an axe

The author must find a way to include the quote "And an axe is an axe," from The Runaway Bride in some capacity. :pinkiehappy:

Other than that, why exactly is Six on prosecution?

Other than that, why exactly is Six on prosecution?

To find the truth. That is the true purpose of the defense and the prosecution. They are to theoretically work together by pushing each other to their limits in order for the truth to be revealed. Phoenix has already chosen to defend the Nine so Six became the prosecutor. I also made him prosecutor because Six is the most fitting Doctor of them all to fit into the crazy gallery of unique and bizarre Ace Attorney prosecutors.

I've heard of the character but I am not entirely familiar with Ace Attorney Investigations or her story in those games. :twilightsheepish:

Okay, yeah, fair enough. With a justification like that, one doesn't need an actual reason, I say.
