The 10th Anniversary of Friendship is Magic's Premiere · 6:13pm Oct 10th, 2020
I know I'm not as active here as I used to be but I felt that I had to at least make a little comment here about Friendship is Magic officially beginning its journey into ten-year status. I can't believe it's been ten years since Friendship is Magic started. Heck, I can't believe it's already been a year since the series ended. Does make me wish that we could have gotten a tenth season in order to have the series end at this perfect landmark but I'll take the ending we got, for sure. :)
Granted, I don't have as much attachment to the premiere as I didn't start following the show until the break between Seasons 1 and 2. It wasn't even the first episode of the series that I watched. It's always weird going back to the very beginning and seeing just how far the show evolved and change throughout its nine-year lifespan. All the things that transpired throughout the show as well as the broader fandom at large. I often do become quite nostalgic for those earlier years when "My Little Dashie" was the biggest fanfic in the fandom and the like. Back when I was writing my Doctor Whooves series and writing my usual reviews for both MLP and Doctor Who. Feels like another lifetime ago at this rate.
Anyway, I just felt that I needed to say a little something on this day. Hope you are all doing well and that Generation 5, when it premieres next year, will end up being just as good if not better than what Generation 4 was. :D

Thanks! Yep things have been good. Not on here as often as I used to be, obviously, since I left writing fanfics behind. But I try to check back in every so often. Nice to see that there are still people who are happy to hear whatever thoughts I may put up here once a year. XD

I actually forgot that today's the anniversary of MLP's premiere.
Yeah, I wished they did a 10th season just so they could end on a nice round number.

Well, technically the tenth season is out there, it's just being told in comic book form instead of television form.
I also wouldn't have noticed today was the anniversary because what day it is hasn't mattered for months. It's something to think about, it feeling like just yesterday I was hearing how oddly popular this new show was to now suddenly it's been a mainstay for me for almost half my life. Time moves in mysterious ways.
