Here's the blog and there for...Place your Ideas on where the story should go. This can go by:

Who you think should join the Horde of the Forest?

My biggest question is how the Horde will act after Ponyville. Will they be a guerrilla force operating from the forest or be an army like the Romans or Huns?

As for Equestria's next move, it would be wise to consolidate their allied forces and regroup. Celestia might need to also question the Mane Six and her sister about the events five years ago.

But for now they'll just keep on defending...

Perhaps the dragons could have an Idea? Or they want an alliance with a being that has declared war upon the most powerful kingdom in the world? (Wink wink)

I like Great Alpha Behemoths and Commander Whisper Parallel.

These two are the most likely guys I may use in farther chapter.

I think Starlight Glimmer would be a nice addition to the Horde. Trying to spread her equality philosophy through the ranks. Also her ability to take away cutie marks would be of great use against other equestrians.

As for who else...I think I could lend you my group of oc's to join the Equestrian side.
Think of them as an opposite force to Celestia's Royal guard. They belong to a special division within the Lunar guard called "The Lunatics" and they serve as a Black Ops group. They refer to Princess Luna by her archaic name "Princess Selene"

I will put their names, a little about what they do and their basic descriptions.

Arcana Shift A.K.A The Shadow Walker - Captain - Espionage

The leader of the Lunatics and responsible of espionage. He is a unicorn who is good at using shadow magic, and often use shadows as his main weapons. The title of "The Shadow Walker" is for his ability to turn into a black plume of smoke to move around, this is a self-made spell created by Arcana, akin to a teleportation spell used by other unicorns but instead of just instant relocation he can use it to have the ability to fly, with a few limitations in the form of how much magic he has left. More magic reserve means more time to use the spell.

Species: Unicorn

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Personality: Calm, collected, smart, slightly sarcastic.

Description: Dark gray coat, chestnut mane/tail, golden eyes.

Cutie Mark: A black book with a crescent moon

Shamrock Blossom A.K.A The Pale mare - Second-in-command - Reconnaissance

Ex-member of the Solar guard who was transferred for her prowess in close combat. She is in charge of reconnaissance missions for the Lunar Princess.

Species: Earth

Gender: Female

Age: 35

Personality: Stoic, calm, observant, thoughtful, caring. Tries to act unfriendly to others outside the Princesses and the Lunatics.

Description: Yellow coat, green with light green streaks mane/tail, olive green eyes

Storm Days A.K.A The Tempest - Tactician - Strategy and Logistic

Storm is better as a tactician, but is good at fighting in the sky. He is the one who usually make the plans for the whole Lunatic group.

Species: Pegasus

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Personality: Private, quiet, thinker, responsible, strategic, impersonal, socially awkward, dislikes communicating feelings

Description: Grayish-lilac coat, pale blue with streaks of white mane/tail, rose-colored eyes.

Snow Charm A.K.A The Sentinel - Interrogation and Intelligence

This mare is very good in getting answers by any means possible. And while her Solar counterparts would be willing to forgive their target, she will do anything to get the truth from her enemies. Her specialty lies with ice magic and illusions.

Species: Unicorn

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Personality: Flirty, friendly, intelligent, straightforward, graceful.

Description: Silver white coat, ice blue mane/tail, blue eyes.

Cutie Mark: A multicolored comet.

Firestorm A.K.A The Maelstrom - Air Assault

Pegasus that far exceeds Storm Days in aerial combat. Uses wing blades as her main weapon and while she is honest and cool headed, she can be quite strong headed when nothing goes her way.

Species: Pegasus

Gender: Female

Age: 26

Personality: Open-minded, honest, cool headed, charismatic.

Description: Orange coat, cherry red mane/tail, gray eyes.

Cutie Mark: A fire tornado.

One question though....I think I will let Snow Charm get into the Horde being an outlaw but how does she get the information? Though flirts, kindness or just being in the shadow?

And sure, you have my permission to use the Lunatics. In fact, I'm grateful that you're willing to use them

Charm has a good balance for getting information through flirts, kindness or by just hiding and listening, but she can get a little rough with those who don't want to cooperate. For those who don't want to talk she use other methods, like psychological manipulation along with illusions, to scare her targets enough so they can talk. Her approachable attitude and friendly behavior allows her to get close to others quickly so those tight lip cases are few and far between.

i think the changellings would make powerfull allies to dynol and since it appears that spike wasn't on the train that left Ponyville he might try to recruit him to his side maybe as a spy or something or at least show him that he is attacking because the oblivious six did that shit to him 5 years ago
trying to find some ponies that aren't happy with the equestrian rule might be nice he could get some info from inside equestria from those ponies
starlight glimmer might be a good option as well even trixie could show up if shes still bent on revenge or something her illusion magic could be helpful and since the griffons have that obsession with bits he could buy some intelligence from the more corrupt ones, maybe even some mercenary group to help too specially if he gets some bits from his probable alliance with the dragons
also does the main character has knowledge about the show ? he could try accessing the other world trough the mirror and get some modern weapons for his troops
there's a lot of possibilities really

Since this is a HiE fic then the question could be can we import some Displaced allies, because if so then the Horde will grow greatly. As for the direction for Equestia, it will be similar to how the British reacted to the Germans after the Dunkirk Evacuation. Not to mention the absense of dragons hinted to all readers that the dragons are more in favor of an alliance to the Horde rather than to Equestria, which means more battles that could result in more Ponyville's on a larger scale. I will also be listening to this when we get into large battle scenes in this epic fimfiction:

Well, Equestria still has Discord as an ally, and considering what had happened with Tirek, it kinda deepen the hold Equestria has in Discord's mind. Discord is best friends with Fluttershy, so he likely would listen to her the most.

Considering how Discord is, I wouldn't be surprised he learned of the truth of Dynol already or not and is merely watching chaos happen... a darker version of chaos considering death which from what had been seen and theorized, Discord doesn't kill.

So Discord is likely a neutral in this, but mostly allied to Fluttershy most likely. And considering how Fluttershy is feeling about this, I get the feeling that eventually she'll try to find Dynol on her own or get Discord's help, just to apologize and beg for forgiveness.

If Discord gained a new friendship with Dynol and his Horde, or some kind of bargain, maybe a deal just to keep Fluttershy safe from harm? Considering Discord is the Spirit of Chaos, would he also know about the Elementals or not?

Don't know really, but the question is mostly, would Discord be allies to Equestria still, or join Dynol, or would he stay neutral?

I always saw discord as a neutral guy but leaning on Equestria's side. He cares for Fluttershy a lot as you could see with him and Tree Hugger. Though I haven't given him a place in the war.

I might make him side with Equestria. However your idea of Fluttershy telling him about going to see Dynol and say she is sorry and asks for forgiveness, give me a good reason when to put Discord into the picture.

Him siding with Dynol and his Horde? Highly unlikely thanks to Triek.

Him knowing the Elementals? Well in 'Scout force vs Forest Friends' Celestia said:

It seem that not every tomes of The Order disappeared after their fall

So she knows about an Order which links with Dynol's powers. Discord (once ruled Equestria) may know about this Order and might know who created it. So it's 50/50 so far because Celestia knows an Order and Discord in theory is somewhat the same age as her or less or more.

So for now, Discord is sort of out of this but may come in, in coming chapters.
