I don't know if anyone will see this blog. I have yet to release my story, which I've barely worked on. I mean... I did a lot of work on it, but my work's been little by little at a time. I've imagined the ending now, but I'm still trying out how to work out the little details and make the story flow through at an even pace. I've also got an editor helping me, and I really appreciate all he's done for me so far. I'm not sure what's been keeping me from working on my story, whether procrastination or just lack of inspiration. Since it's my first story I'm always questioning myself about how good the story needs to be. And I don't know if I should release it after I finish it, or if I should continue a few more chapters and continue as I go along. Until I release it, I'm keeping the story a secret besides any prereaders or editors I may come across.
I'm just... very unsure.

Unsurity is the worst thing you can ever succumb to! But aye, I know it well. The best thing to think about is--does your story please you? If it does, then release it! If it doesn't? Well, why doesn't it? Just because of self-doubt? Release it anyway!
There's always time to do better later--there's never enough time to continually hem and haw.
So as your official welcome to Author Support--I say bring on the story! I know I'm rather curious to see what you'll turn out. All of us here are also ready and willing to help you in any and all forms you may so desire!
Buck up! Be confident! Release stuff! I wish for you the best of luck!
