    It's been a while...

Well, 2020 wasn't a great year for anybody... Between that, and other projects, I'm afraid I let TT:SG fall by the wayside, unfinished. That's not going to remain the case for long, as there are only a couple chapters to wrap it up anyways.

    Keep on Rolling

Writer's block is a terrible thing, but I think I've worked out most of the kinks in the current story, so now I'm motivated!

    Need primary weapon suggestions...

Working on the latest Transporter chapter, and I realized something... Cole doesn't have a shotgun.

For CQB operations, like the one the team is about to undertake, a shotgun is a must.

I've narrowed it down to four choices:

    Keltec KSG:

    UTAS Defense - UTS 15

    New Tech Ideas!

Here's a video I found with some interesting vehicular technology:

What do you think I should incorporate into future vehicles in the "Transporter" series?

Vehicle Selection... · 4:53am Jul 2nd, 2015

Ever since I started writing "The Transporter: Second Gear" I've been wondering what kind of vehicles to provide our drivers with. I do know one of them will be behind the wheel of this:

And our support pony will be driving this:

Please feel free to supply your own suggestions for what you think would be an appropriate vehicle for travelling across the largely undeveloped Equestrian landscape!

'69 Dodge Charger
'57 Chevy Bel-Air
'70 Chevy Camaro
'74 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona
'86 Ferrari Testarossa

3201971 Thanks for the input! Definitely going to use the '69 Charger, but it'll need mods to operate well on Equestrian terrain. Keep in mind, the idea of a proper "road" (highway/freeway) is still a ways off in the land of the ponies, so any vehicle that's intended to survive multiple missions will need to be semi/fulltime offroad capable.

I'm probably a little late to the game but, I was thinking that since most of Equestria has no developed roads yet, your drivers are going to need something to handle the tough terrain. You got the speedy machine handled obviously with the Rally Fighter. The AMG 6x6 will obviously help with heavier duty. However, what if on a long route that leaves the drivers tired and nowhere near an available bedding facilities for miles?

This could fix that problem. It is the AEV Brute with a lightweight collapsible camper top courtesy of Earth Roamer. Great for resting up out in the wilderness. And the four door model can help with carrying the additional load also.

3221247 Niiice!

I was going to pick something along the lines of a Landmaster:

jasonahurley.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/landmaster.jpg

Specifically due to the unique, serviceable wheel arrangement, as demonstrated below:

But that AEV Brute is a good idea!

3221317 Oh yeah the Landmaster is pretty cool. Ive seen that picture once or twice while scouring the interwebs.

3221804 Plus, it's the perfect name for a vehicle... In any universe.

Any thoughts on another fast offroader?

3221823 Done and Done.

Oh yeah, came across this the other day. A truly interesting vehicle.
