On completion of stories and the beginning of new stuff · 4:00am Jul 1st, 2015
So yeah, I completed a story. It honestly wasn't that good, and I mostly regret putting it out there, but hey, more experience is good, right?
I don't have much of an idea of when the next bit of ponywords from me is going to happen. I have quite a bit going on, and I'm not sure I want to throw my hat back into the ring quite yet.
Warm sands, everyone.
C'mon now... your story was probably the best one I've read all night and I've been up a bit, reading a few (past 2:00am already?... ugh - fine, clock, I'll go to bed already). Take more courage then this! You did well - and your upvotes vs. downvotes speaks fond words, even though I'm not really a strong advocate for using that as a gauge of anything.
If it says anything, your story was something that could even keep readers' interest up to the very end... I could probably, not without much scandalous offense, mention several stories that couldn't even achieve that feat from even me, and I'm a sucker for trying to look at many things from a positive light... even if there might be none.
Don't be sucked into the ol' artisan's curse of cutting down your own works, especially since it was really a good piece.
Lookin' forward to more horsewords. I'm watchin'.

Thanks for the encouragement, man. I still feel that this story wasn't as good as my other ones, mostly because this one was pretty rushed, with little to no editing in it. For Denny's, I actually had that heavily edited by my friends, and it went through several revisions until it was published. Honestly, if I had taken the time to do that for this story, it probably would have turned out better.
But hey, if you liked it, who am I to judge?
More horse words will come. Soon, TM.
