Garg, that was one hell of a pain in the ass chapter to write.
It was originally going to be longer, much longer. But I felt that splitting it into two chapters instead of one was the better choice. Hopefully you lot agree. As it stands the content of the next chapter, well from this point on is going to be a challenge. When I started this story I had a clear idea of where I wanted it to go and how I wanted it to end...yeah about that.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that the basic plot has changed no less than three times since I started Chapter 4 alone. Lord knows wtf I'm going to come up with when I'm writing chapter 5, the only thing I will give away is that chapter 5 is going to be a pivotal point in the story, and whatever path I choose I'm going to have to choose it soon as the fate of this story depends on what the path I pick. 3 current ideas, one way to go...a combination of two of the three may be the best bet.
Whatever path I decide to send Max down, know that it isn't easy...and I'll be damned if I make it easy, it's not my style and it sure as hell isn't Max's. Time to pull out Max Payne 3 and get 're-acquainted' with Mr. Payne...to the writing programs!
