TL;DR — It finally happened. I have 1000 views on my first chapter. It's crazy. Thank you so much. Chapter 11 is coming.
I feel really bummed right now. I started a project this weekend that isn't going to get finished, and i keep running into roadblocks with things I want to do, to the point where I don't know what to do other than go to work and write Modulation. I'm very thankful to have Modulation, it's a creative project I pretty much could do myself (but i would never, shutout to the editors), and that kind of control is a blessing for those who know the ills of working with others.
I wish more people told me how they felt about my story. It's been the longest running personal project I've ever done, and I've poured so many hours into the nooks and crannies of this story. But I'm so thankful for those who have shared their thoughts. Even the criticism makes me feel validated.
I want to get chapter 11 to you so bad. I always have trouble with the little details, making sure characters do this in thataway, say that to convey what's really eating at them. Gotta make sure this new element I want to introduce is congruent with the pages of backstory and all the outlines I've already written. It's fun work, but I'm slow. Really slow. I lost the tag, but this story is meant to be Dark, Adventure, AND Slice of Life. The slow chapters have been a part of the story all along, but still. I just realized the other day it took 3 years to find out what Rainbow Dash and Twilight were up to. I'm so sorry!
I wish I could tell you EVERYTHING I have planned, so you guys could get excited as I am to experience this story. I want to tell you about the Lunar Knights who visited Ponyvile, and about the hekkatron, and Y. Spinner, and the voice, and tell you why I picked my cover art, and about what the hell Twilight is doing, and all the super characters we've yet to meet, and joust how long the overall story has been going on... but I have to wait. I have lay this foundation one chapter at a time. I hope you guys don't mind the wait too bad. There's been a few times when I've wanted to abandon the story and tell everything in a post but then I'll have a breakthrough and rush back to my word processor to record all the ideas.
Anyways. Thank you so much. I'm not giving up. Chapter 11 is coming. I'll give you a hit, it's time for a little rain on this parade.
