It's taken a long time but it's finally been done. Click here to be taken to chapter 3: A Perfect Day.First, let me tell you how sorry I am that it's taken so long for this chapter to get done. Second, let me try and explain why.
There are a lot of reasons and even more excuses but i'm only here to tell the truth. For one thing, this story is very important to me. It was my first real attempt at writing. Sure, I write shorts and creative essays that were decent. This was different. This was my start. In this story holds a piece of me. No story is just a story for me. Each holds a piece of me and this was the first piece I ever gave. I wanted to do it right. I needed to make sure that I got the right words out. This is not a story I can mess up for any reason. It took a lot longer than I thought it would for me to find those right words. For that, I'm sorry.
Another thing is that this is the story most of you all like. Call Me Dick might have a few more views but this is something people seem to genuinely like. Something I've never seen before for anything I've made. Not did I have to do right by me and right by the story itself, but I just had to do right you guys.
It took longer than I thought it would and I am beyond sorry for that. Now, though, that it's done we can move to the rest of the story. I have plans for this story. I have since it was first thought up. If I could show you guys the notebook I have solely dedicated to this story, I would. This was the start and now the story can really begin. As I said, the next few chapters will be in the hospital. I've got a few plans for both during the hosiptal and after. Chapter 4 has been underway for about a week or so. Not too far in but coming along nicely. I'm doing my best to not have the wait for chapter 4 be even a quarter as long as the one for chapter 3 was. Hopefully, work and brain permenting, it'll be out before June's end. I can only hope.
